STX Entertainment [BURBANK, Calif]. announced the appointment of Rich Sullivan to Chief Operating Officer of STXdigital, division of STX Entertainment. Sullivan was promoted to this newly created position having served as Chief Financial Officer for the corporation for the past two and a half years. Sullivan will continue to perform the duties of the CFO role until a successor is named. Prior to joining STX Entertainment, Sullivan was a senior executive at DreamWorks Animation where he served as its Deputy Chief Financial Officer.
Yoshinoya America [TORRANCE, Calif.] named Jim Stevens as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. Stevens joins Yoshinoya from Checkers Drive in Restaurants / Rally’s where he was on the Executive Team as Ops Leader. Stevens started his career at Yum Brands in 1992 and he has worked his way up through multiple management positions including VP Operations at Arby’s and COO at Captain D’s.
Welltok [Denver] announced the appointment of Rob Scavo as president and chief operating officer. Scavo most recently served as president of payer markets at TriZetto, now owned by Cognizant. Rob previously worked for PacifiCare Health Systems (now owned by UnitedHealthcare) and for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
TGI Fridays™ [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Jerry Comstock as President & Chief Operating Officer. Comstock is joining after an extensive history as an owner and operator of restaurants, including 27 TGI Fridays.
BERG [BOSTON] announced the appointment of Titus M.F.M. Plattel, as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Plattel, joins BERG with 25 years of global experience in the biotech industry. Previously, Mr. Plattel served in executive management positions with Krypton Immuno-Oncology and Bavarian Nordic in product development, commercialization and development of innovative therapies.
Crown Holdings, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA] (NYSE: CCK) announced that Gerard H. Gifford, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer effective April 1, 2017. Currently, Mr. Gifford serves as President CROWN Europe. Mr. Gifford has more than thirty-five years of experience with the Company in increasingly responsible roles.

Luis previously served as President of ADT Business. Prior to ADT, Luis was at United Technologies Corporation (UTC), where he served as President of the Global Detection and Alarm businesses. He also served as the President of Lenel Systems International, Inc. Prior to joining UTC in 2008, he spent 13 years with General Electric in a variety of leadership roles, culminating in his post as chief marketing officer of GE Equipment Services.
