Wingate Healthcare [NEEDHAM, Mass.] announced the appointment of Tamilyn Levin as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Levin has been with Wingate for four years as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Wingate, Ms. Levin was founder and principal of TM Levin Law, LLC and Financial Consulting. Prior to that she practiced law at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP. Ms. Levin has held several senior financial leadership roles at Atlantic Retirement Group, LLC, Benchmark Assisted Living, LLC, Epoch Senior Living, Inc. and Prism Health Group, Inc.
Viverae® [DALLAS] announced that Robyne Gaudreau has been appointed chief operations officer. Gaudreau joined Viverae in 2012 as chief financial officer and will continue in that capacity. Prior to joining Viverae, Gaudreau led teams in the architecture, engineering, construction, and telecom industries, and earned the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.
Phibro [STAMFORD, Conn.] announced that it has appointed Martin Mitchell as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Phibro, he spent 23 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer.
RLJ Lodging Trust [BETHESDA, Md.] (NYSE: RLJ) announced Leslie D. Hale as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) of the Company. Ms. Hale will serve in the dual role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company. Ms. Hale joined RLJ Development, LLC the Company’s predecessor in 2005 as its Director of Real Estate and Finance and was promoted to Vice President in 2006. In 2007, she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President and, in 2013, she was promoted to Executive Vice President. Prior to Ms. Hale’s tenure at RLJ, she held several positions within General Electric Capital Corporation (“GE”), including Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of GE Commercial Finance and Associate Director in the GE Real Estate – Strategic Capital Group. Before GE, Ms. Hale was an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
The Bancorp, Inc. [WILMINGTON, Del.] (NASDAQ: TBBK) has appointed Hugh McFadden as Chief Operating Officer of the Company and the Bank. McFadden served as a Consultant for Promontory Financial Group on regulatory compliance issues. Past roles include Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Modern Bank, N.A. McFadden also served in various capacities within The Citigroup Private Bank, including as Chief Operating Officer for both the Americas and Europe divisions. Prior to that, he held various executive roles with Bankers Trust Company. He began his career with the U.S. Treasury Department and the Export Import Bank of the U.S.
Dev Bootcamp [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Tarlin Ray has been appointed as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to being appointed COO, Tarlin served as Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy for Dev Bootcamp and Metis. Before transitioning into the VP role, Tarlin helped launch Metis in 2014 as one of its four founding members. Tarlin has held key roles within Kaplan in operations, sales, and marketing, as well as leadership positions in several early-stage companies such as T.w.I.S.M., The Groove Alliance, and Virgin Charter.
Grand Circle Corporation [BOSTON] announced that Michael J. Harrison has joined as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Michael Harrison was most recently at Timberland, where he held various positions, including Co-President and Chief Brand Officer, for close to a decade. Earlier, he worked in several executive capacities at Proctor & Gamble in the U.S., Australia, Japan, and England, including Vice President, Western Europe Cosmetics & Skin Care, President and General Manager, Max Factor KK Japan, and various marketing roles.
Universal Diagnostic Laboratories [VAN NUYS, Calif.] announced the appointment of Michael Mosunic as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Universal Diagnostic Laboratories, Mosunic was Associate Vice President, Specialty Sales West Division for Laboratory Corporation of America. He assumed this role after Laboratory Corporation of America purchased Pathology, Inc. where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales, Service and Phlebotomy. In addition, he has held various positions including Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Slone Partners and Chief Operating Officer of Consultants for Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Kissner Group Holdings LP [OVERLAND PARK, Kan.] announced that Mitchell Dascher has been named as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Dascher previously served as President of US Salt, LLC since 2007. He has also served as President of Southern Lime and has held various leadership positions with Harris Chemical Group, including four years of sales oversight for the highway deicing business for North American Salt Company.
IHRC, Inc. [ATLANTA] announced that Michael Astwood has been named Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Astwood will succeed Dr. Bala Swaminathan, who will remain with IHRC in a Senior Advisor role. Mr. Astwood has been with IHRC since 2014 and most recently served as its Chief Science and Technology Officer.
AAP [CHARLESTON, S.C.] announced it has appointed Janet Kacer as chief operating officer. Prior to joining AAP, she spent 10 years in increasingly responsible positions with a McDonald’s franchise in Central Florida, culminating in the position of CFO.
Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate [MADISON, N.J.] announced Daniel Dannenmann as its new Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Dannenmann served as Vice President for Asia Pacific at customer experience research firm BARE International. He has also held positions at leading hospitality brands including Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotel Group and Marriott International.
ESSA Pharma Inc. [HOUSTON and VANCOUVER] (TSX: EPI) (NASDAQ: EPIX) announced the appointment of Peter Virsik as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining ESSA, Mr. Virsik served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development for XenoPort. Prior to XenoPort, Mr. Virsik worked for Gilead Sciences from 2000 through 2005 in Corporate Development. Before joining Gilead, Mr. Virsik worked at J.P. Morgan and as a consultant for Ernst and Young. Mr. Virsik began his career in R&D at Genentech.

1845 Oil Field Services [WEATHERFORD, Texas] announced that Robbie Ballard has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer by the Board of Directors. Mr. Ballard has served in various executive operations roles at 1845 since joining the business in 2011. Prior to joining 1845, Mr. Ballard spent 5 years with a distribution operation in the trucking sector. Prior to that, Mr. Ballard had built a successful commercial HVAC company over the course of 15 years.
