Time Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE:TIME) announced that Jen Wong has been named Chief Operating Officer of the company. Wong joined Time Inc. in December 2015 as President of Digital. Wong joined Time Inc. from POPSUGAR, Inc., where she was Chief Business Officer. From 2011 to 2015. Wong previously held several executive management roles at AOL and, earlier in her career, worked with a range of digital media and technology clients at McKinsey & Company.
Kneaders Bakery & Café [SALT LAKE CITY] announced Neil Checketts as the organization’s new chief operating officer. For the past year and since his time with Kneaders, Checketts has served as the organization’s vice president of food safety and quality assurance. Checketts previously served as senior director of food safety at Walmart. He also served as vice president of food safety, quality assurance, quality control and regulatory affairs for Sobeys Inc. Checketts began his professional career working for several health departments in Utah as a registered environmental scientist.
New Jersey Resources Corporation [WALL, N.J.] (NYSE: NJR) announced that Mariellen Dugan, currently Senior Vice President and General Counsel, NJR, will become Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG). She replaces Kathleen Ellis, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, NJNG, who will assume the new role of Executive Vice President, Policy and Strategic Development, NJR, until her retirement. Mariellen Dugan joined NJR in 2005 as Vice President and General Counsel, and was appointed Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2008. Prior to joining NJR, Ms. Dugan served prominent roles in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, first as Chief of Staff and then as First Assistant Attorney General. She was an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey and was of counsel to the law firm of Marino, Tortorella & Boyle, P.C. in Newark, New Jersey.
