National DCP (NDCP) [ATLANTA] has hired Robert A. Sharpe to serve as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining NDCP, he served as the President and CEO of CSM Bakery Solutions. Previous roles have also included Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Campofrío Food Group in Madrid, Spain; President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Groupe Smithfield in Paris, France; and serving as President, International Operations, of Smithfield Foods, Inc.
NantHealth, Inc. [CULVER CITY, Calif.] (NASDAQ-GS: NH) announced the appointment of Ronald A. Louks as its Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining NantHealth, Louks served as President of Devices & Emerging Solutions at BlackBerry Limited. Earlier, Louks served as Chief Executive Officer of the OpenNMS Group. Before that, he was Chief Strategy Officer for HTC Corporation. Previous to this, he held a number of senior leadership positions at Sony Ericsson, most recently serving as its Chief Technology Officer.
CACI International Inc. [ARLINGTON, Va.] (NYSE: CACI) announced that John Mengucci the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President of U.S. Operations, will take on an expanded role as COO. Mengucci joined CACI in 2012 as COO and President of U.S. Operations.
Allegiant Travel Company [LAS VEGAS] (NASDAQ: ALGT) announced that Jude Bricker has resigned his position as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Scott Sheldon, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will act as interim chief operating officer.
Thesys CAT LLC [NEW YORK] announced today the appointment of Edward Watson as Chief Operating Officer. Watson has held senior level executive roles at Citigroup, BNY Mellon, FIS/Capco, and Fannie Mae.
Senscio Systems, Inc. [BOSTON] announced the appointment of Gary M. Janko. Janko’s career spans 35 years, including the launch of Bay State Health Care as its president and chief operating officer. Subsequent to Bay State he established Access Partners, Inc. Janko joins Senscio after ten years as COO at a national chronic pain management network. Janko has also served as President of the New Hampshire chapter of Medical Group Management Association and Chair of the Physician Practice Management Committee of the MA-RI Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Aldevron [FARGO, N.D.] has named Henry Hebel as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently Hebel served as vice-president of operations for Aeglea Biotherapeutics. Previously he served as vice-president of drug development for Terapio. Additionally, Hebel was chief operating officer of VGXI (previously known as ADViSYS). Prior to his work at VGXI, Hebel served as key account manager at Qiagen. His early career included work as senior manager of bioprocessing for GeneMedicine, and he has experience in antibody product development and manufacturing at Tanox Biosystems. Hebel succeeds Ron Robson, who recently retired as Aldevron’s COO after 18 years with the company.
Allied Power Group [HOUSTON, TEXAS] announced the appointment of David (Dave) Theis as President and Chief Operating Officer. Theis brings over thirty (30) years of successful operational, business development and strategic leadership experience to Allied, most notably founding and growing Leading Edge Turbine Technologies. Most recently, Theis served as Senior Vice-President at PAS Technologies, Inc.
Crawford Hoying [DUBLIN, Ohio] announced the addition of a new leadership role-Chris Lanning as President and Chief Operating Officer. Lanning has held general manager and senior leadership roles within world class brands such as Gap, Victoria Secret Stores, The Coca Cola Company and DSW, Inc.
1347 Property Insurance Holdings, Inc. [TAMPA, Fla.] (NASDAQ: PIH) announced that the Company has appointed Dan Case to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Case was an Executive Vice President at BMS Re from September 2016 to March 2017 and a founding partner at Advocate Reinsurance Partners from October 2010 until its purchase by BMS Re in September 2016. Case began his career as an analyst in Banc of America Securities’ Financial Institutions Group in 2000. In 2002, Case joined Aon Benfield Securities where he served the insurance and reinsurance industries until 2006. In 2006, he joined HBK Investments as an analyst managing private equity. Case was also a partner at TigerRisk Partners, from 2009 – 2010.
Upskill [WASHINGTON] announced the addition of Jeremy Kirsch as chief operating officer (COO). Kirsch comes to Upskill from Opower (acquired by Oracle in June 2016), where he was executive vice president and general manager for worldwide sales. Previously, Kirsch served as vice president, sales and marketing, for the Viisage Secure Credentialing Business at L-1 Identity Solutions. Kirsch also held a business development leadership role at Art Technology Group and was a founding team member at InvestorTree.com. Before that, Kirsch served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy (Special Operations).
The Hawthorn Group, LC [ALEXANDRIA, Va.] announced that Suzanne Hammelman has been appointed president and chief operating officer. Hammelman, previously was Hawthorn’s Chief Client Officer. Before joining Hawthorn, Hammelman headed her own public affairs firm, served as political director for the National Association of Homebuilders and earlier worked in the U.S. Senate.
GlobalTranz Enterprises, Inc. [PHOENIX] announced that Kirsten Castillo Hall has been named chief operating officer. Hall joins GlobalTranz as part of its recently announced acquisition of Logistics Planning Services (LPS), where she was chief executive officer. Prior to becoming CEO of LPS, Hall served as chief operating officer. Prior to joining LPS, Hall held progressive supply chain operations management roles at Imation.
