SenesTech, Inc. [FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.] (NASDAQ: SNES) announced the hiring of Andrew Altman as Chief Operations Officer. Prior to joining SenesTech, Altman was Vice President and General Manager at IDEXX BioResearch.
Saddle Creek Logistics Services [LAKELAND, Fla.] announced Mark Cabrera, Saddle Creek’s current senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) in anticipation of succeeding current CEO Cliff Otto upon his retirement. Cabrera will assume the COO role July 1, 2017, and the role of CEO within two years. Cabrera, who joined Saddle Creek in 2001, currently serves as chief strategy officer for the company. Previously, Cabrera spent 15 years in financial roles in a variety of industries for companies including Arthur Andersen LLP, GTE Financial, National Insurance Services and Reeves Steel, Inc.
BL Restaurant Operations LLC. [ADDISON, Texas] announced Tony Wehner as the new chief operating officer of Bar Louie. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Logan’s Roadhouse. Prior to that, Wehner served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for On the Border Restaurants and held leadership positions within Brinker International’s Chili’s and Red Lobster. The announcement follows news that James “Smokey” Hughes will be retiring as chief operating officer.
AutoNation, Inc. [FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.] (NYSE: AN) announced that AutoNation Western Region President, Lance Iserman has been named Executive Vice President of Sales and Chief Operating Officer. Iserman has over 30 years of retail automotive experience and over 15 years of experience within the AutoNation organization. Most recently, Iserman was the Western Region President. Prior to this role, Iserman served as a Market President as well as a Market President in Arizona.
TETRA Technologies, Inc. [THE WOODLANDS, Texas] (NYSE: TTI) announced that Joseph Elkhoury, its senior vice president and chief operating officer, has resigned. TETRA’s President and CEO, Stuart M. Brightman, has assumed Elkhoury’s responsibilities.
Conterra Ultra Broadband Holdings [CHARLOTTE, N.C.] announced the hiring of Craig S. Gunderson as its President & Chief Operating Officer. After an appropriate transition period, Conterra’s Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology, Dennis Francis, will be retiring from day-to-day responsibilities but will remain an active advisor to the Company. Prior to his executive roles at Oxford Networks, Gunderson spent eight years at Frontier Communications/Global Crossing.
Western General Insurance Company [CALABASAS, Calif.] announced the hiring of Denise M. Tyson as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Western General, Tyson was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Workmen’s Auto Insurance Company. Prior to that she held executive level positions with Balboa Insurance Group and National Automobile Insurance Company.
Pharm-Olam International LLC [HOUSTON] announced the appointment of John Barry as Chief Operating Officer. Barry has extensive experience in the drug development industry and has worked as executive leader for two of the top 5 CROs and was previously with Merck as the Head of Portfolio Sourcing and Relationship Management.
