Enerflex Ltd. [CALGARY, Alberta] (TSX: EFX) announced the appointment of Marc Rossiter as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective May 1, 2018. Prior to his appointment as COO, Rossiter was President of the USA region. Previously, Mr. Rossiter was Vice President and General Manager, Southern USA and Latin America.

Capital Automotive Real Estate Services (CARS) [MCLEAN, Va.] announced that Tamara C. Darvish has joined as Chief Operating Officer (COO).  Tamara most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Pentagon Federal (PenFed) Credit Union. Prior to her outstanding work at PenFed, she was the Executive Vice President at DARCARS Automotive Group.

Futures of Palm Beach [TEQUESTA, Fla.] hired Dr. Deja A. Gilbert as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to joining Futures, Deja led the successful development and expansion of multiple behavioral healthcare facilities.  She served as Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers.

HBR Consulting LLC (HBR) [CHICAGO] announced that Evan Trent has joined the Firm’s executive team as chief operating officer (COO). Most recently, he was vice president of strategy and corporate development at Heidrick & Struggles. Previously, he served as an operating executive for a portfolio of companies at Sterling Partners.

REV Group, Inc. [MILWAUKEE] (NYSE: REVG) announced that Tom Phillips has rejoined the Company as Chief Operating Officer (COO).  Tom will assume many of the duties of Marcus Berto, Executive Vice President, who was terminated by the Company.

Liquor Stores N.A. Ltd. [EDMONTON, Alberta] (TSX: LIQ) announced Paul Reid as President and Chief Operating Officer of its Liquor Division. Paul replaces David Gordey, who will again be the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Reid most recently was Vice President – Corporate Retail Operations at FGL Sports.

BCB Bancorp, Inc. [BAYONNE, N.J.] (NASDAQ: BCBP), the holding company for BCB Community Bank announced that Michael Lesler has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Clifton Savings Bank.  Prior to that, Mr. Lesler held the positions of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer at Bank of New Jersey, where he served for 11 years.

Gregg Margosian

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (TGCS) [RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.] announced that Gregg Margosian has been named its Chief Operating Officer effective April 1, 2018. Margosian is formerly TGCS’ Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management and R&D.

Alta Mesa Resources, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NASDAQ: AMR) announced that Craig W. Collins joined the Company as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer-Midstream.  Mr. Collins will also be Chief Operating Officer of Kingfisher Midstream, LLC. Collins joins the Company after 15 years with Anadarko Petroleum and Western Gas Partners where he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Western Gas Partners.

Scribd [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Jared Fliesler will join the company as Chief Operating Officer. Fliesler has held executive positions at Square, Slide, was a Director of Product at Google and most recently served as General Partner at venture capital firm Matrix Partners.

Methodist Medical Group [RICHARDSON, Texas] announced that Michael W. Bukosky joined as Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer. Bukosky comes to MMG from a position as chief administrative officer of USMD Holdings, Inc. and president of USMD Physician Practice Management. Earlier in his career, Bukosky served as chief executive officer of University of Louisville Physicians in Louisville, Ky. He also served previously as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Carle Clinic Association in Urbana, Ill.

Kia Motors America [IRVINE, Calif.] announced that Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and executive vice president, has announced his intent to leave to pursue new opportunities, effective April 17, 2018.

Hornet [NEW YORK] announced that Alim Dhanji will join the company’s executive team as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Hornet, Alim was Chief People Officer at Kik, after having served on its board and as a senior advisor to the CEO. Alim has also held senior executive roles with leading companies such as Citigroup, TD Bank Financial Group, KPMG International and Scotiabank Group.

BridgeStreet [RESTON, Va.] has named Brian Proctor as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Brian most recently served as VP of Operations at Evolution Hospitality in San Clemente.

Palmer Square Capital Management [MISSION WOODS, Kan.] announced the hiring of Scott Betz as Chief Operating Officer, a new position at Palmer Square. Scott will also serve as Chief Compliance Officer. Scott brings almost 20 years of experience, most recently at Scout Investments where he was Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Treasurer.

Tom Bartolomei

ITOCHU Corporation and NAES Corporation [NEW YORK and ISSAQUAH, Wash.] have named Tom Bartolomei President and Chief Operating Officer of NAES. Bartolomei currently serves as NAES Senior Vice President. Before joining NAES in 2014, he served as President and CEO of Eco Power Solutions. He has also held executive-level positions at Alstom Power, Burns & Roe Enterprises and AREVA.

Magenta Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced that chief operating officer Bastiano Sanna, Ph.D., has resigned from the Company to pursue an opportunity outside of Magenta.

Celgene Corporation [SUMMIT, N.J.] (NASDAQ: CELG) announced that Scott A. Smith, President and Chief Operating Officer, is leaving the company.

STATS [CHICAGO] bolstered its executive roster with the introduction of Mike Perez as its new Chief Operating Officer. Perez joins STATS from the Tidewater Group. His previous roles include Chief Development Officer of Whitney Bradley and Brown, Senior Vice President of Tiburon, and Senior Vice President of SIGBA.

Condor Hospitality Trust, Inc. [BETHESDA, Md.] (NYSE American: CDOR) announced that Jeffrey Dougan, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, gave notice to the Company of his resignation, effective April 27, 2018. Mr. Dougan has accepted a position as the Chief Executive Officer of a Boston-based hospitality management company.

Hi-Crush Partners LP [HOUSTON] (NYSE: HCLP) announced that Scott J. Preston has joined as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Mr. Preston served simultaneously as Chief Operations Officer of Unimin Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of Winchester & Western Railroad, within the Sibelco Group portfolio.  Prior to that, Mr. Preston has held various senior-level supply, procurement, and planning positions for other logistically complex businesses during his tenures with Tronox Incorporated, International Flavors & Fragrances and Pepsi Bottling Group.

Cingulate Therapeutics LLC [KANSAS CITY, Kan.] announced the appointment of Laurie A. Myers, Ph.D. to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).  Dr. Myers currently serves as a founding member of the Cingulate Therapeutics Board of Directors. Dr. Myers has played key role in clinical drug development, marketing and commercialization for leading global pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, DuPont, Pfizer and Sanofi (including predecessor companies) which included leadership positions in both R&D and marketing.

Data Foundry [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the promotion of Cameron Wynne, who has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Wynne has been with Data Foundry for 17 years, previously serving as the company’s vice president of operations. Before joining Data Foundry, Wynne worked as an IT consultant for PwC and Cap Gemini.

American International Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: AIG) announced the appointment of Donna DeMaio as Global Chief Operating Officer, General Insurance. Ms. DeMaio previously served as Chief Auditor at AIG. Prior to her role as Chief Auditor, Ms. DeMaio served as President and CEO of United Guaranty Corporation (UGC) while it was a subsidiary of AIG. She was previously CEO of MetLife Bank following her tenure as the bank’s Chief Financial Officer. Earlier in her career, she was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Financial Services Practice and National Office.

U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NYSE: USPH) announced that Graham Reeve has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer-East. Graham recently served as the long-tenured CEO of The Baptist Health System in San Antonio, Texas.

C.H. Robinson (NASDAQ: CHRW) announced that Robert (“Bob”) Biesterfeld has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Biesterfeld has been with the company for 19 years. Prior to becoming President of NAST, he was Vice President, Truckload. He also served as Vice President of Robinson Fresh and as a General Manager in Phoenix, Arizona.

StoneMor Partners L.P. [TREVOSE, Pa.] (NYSE: STON)  announced the hiring of Jim Ford as its Chief Operating Officer.  Ford joins StoneMor from Foundation Partners Group, where he was Chief Customer Officer.  He previously held the position of Vice President, Business Optimization. Prior to joining Foundation Partners Group, Ford held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Cremation Services with the Neptune Society in Plantation, Florida.  Before that, he held several senior management positions with Service Corporation International (SCI) during his 16 years with the company.

America’s Promise Alliance [WASHINGTON] named Dennis Vega as its chief operating officer. Vega has spent the past nine years in the federal government, serving in senior positions at the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Department of State.  Most recently, he served in the Department of State’s Office of U.S. Foreign Assistance Resources as the Managing Director for Regional and Global Issues and, previously, as the Managing Director for Planning, Performance, and Systems. Prior to government service, Vega worked for the 2008 Obama Presidential Campaign, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Missouri State Public Defender.  He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin.

Titan Energy, LLC [FORT WORTH, Texas] (OTCQX: TTEN) announced the appointment of Christopher Walker as Chief Operating Officer of Titan, which will take effect as of March 9th. Mr. Walker has served as Vice President of Operations since February 2016.  Mr. Walker also served in senior operations leadership positions at Titan’s predecessor since July 2012. Prior to joining Titan, Mr. Walker held Field Engineer and District Technical Supervisor positions with BJ Services/Baker Hughes from 2007 to 2012, specializing in hydraulic fracturing design and execution.

Equity Residential [CHICAGO] (NYSE: EQR) announced that David S. Santee, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), will step down as COO on June 30, 2018 and retire by year-end. The Company also announced that Michael L. Manelis, Executive Vice President of Property Operations, will become the Company’s COO effective July 1, 2018.

Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [WATERTOWN, Mass.] (NASDAQ: TTPH) announced the promotion of Larry Edwards, Chief Commercial Officer, to Chief Operating Officer. Larry Edwards joined Tetraphase in 2015 as Vice President of Marketing, became Vice President of Commercial Operations in 2016, and was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in the beginning of 2017. Prior to joining Tetraphase, Mr. Edwards served as Senior Director of Marketing, Gram Negative Franchise, with Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Privis Health [RALEIGH, N.C.] announced that Brian Morton has joined as Chief Operating Officer. Brian previously was named Vice President of Optimization for Ascension Medical Group. Prior to joining the Ascension team, Brian served as Vice President of Optimization and Revenue Cycle at Clinovations / Advisory Board. Immediately preceding Clinovations, Brian served for a decade as the Vice President of Operations for Halley Consulting.

American Addiction Treatment Association [LOS ANGELES] announced that Andrew Martin, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Serene Recovery Network, Inc. has joined as Chief Operating Officer.

betterU Education Corp. [OTTAWA] (TSX-V: BTRU) announced the hiring of Dominique Jones as the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”). Most recently, Dominique served as COO and Senior Consultant for L&C Strategic Advisors and prior to that as Chief People Officer of Halogen Software. Prior to Halogen, Dominique worked with Right Management.

All For One Media Corp. [MOUNT KISCO, N.Y.] (OTCQB: AFOM) announced the appointment of Howard Kra as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kra’s began his career in 1982 as a wealth advisor at Lehman Brothers in New York, rising rapidly to become a Senior Vice President. In 1993, Mr. Kra relocated to Washington D.C. to join Morgan Stanley as a Senior Vice President, serving until 2002. Mr. Kra played an instrumental role in the launching of Streamline.com, a pioneering e-commerce company that he helped take public in 1999, raising $45 million before it was acquired by Peapod. Following that, Mr. Kra helped lead the founder of Advanced Communications Group through the process of going public and raising $115 million. In 2004, he became a partner and private investor at Atlantic Capital Group. While there, he worked closely with the beverage company Honest Tea (acquired by Coca-Cola Corp) both as an advisor and early investor. Most recently, Mr. Kra has been working closely with startups through his consulting company, Kra Consults.

ACRE [LAS VEGAS] announced the appointment of Ronald Virden as Chief Operating Officer, effective April 1, 2018. Virden most recently served as President and Managing Director for Global Security Products, Americas/Global Access Solutions at UTC. Prior to that, Virden was President and Managing Director of GE Industrial Systems, GE Security/Supra.

Mohit (Moe) Nagpal

Pro Mujer [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Mohit (Moe) Nagpal as chief operating officer. Prior to joining Pro Mujer, Nagpal served as vice-president of business operations at Hewlett-Packard. Afterwards, he served as executive director for client, account and business operations of DXC Technology.

Home Savings [YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio] announced it has appointed Zahid Afzal to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, effective March 19. Afzal most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology and Operations Executive at Capital Bank in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to joining Capital, he held the position of Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer at Huntington National Bank and Senior Vice President, Consumer and Small Business Banking CIO with Bank of America. He also has held significant roles with Broadslate Networks, Charlottesville, VA, Citigroup (Citicorp), New York, NY and MCI Communications, Colorado Springs, CO in addition to consulting for Planning Research Corp. CRC, Mitchell System, VA. Afzal has served as a member of the board of directors for UCFC/Home Savings Bank since 2013. He will remain on the Home Saving Bank Board. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Bancsource in Springfield, MO.

Atlas Genetics [CAMBRIDGE, Mass. & BATH, United Kingdom] announced the appointment of Marc Jones as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Meta Company [SAN MATEO, Calif.] announced that former Apple India Managing Director Maneesh Dhir has joined the company as its new chief operating officer. Before joining Meta, Dhir served as the managing director for Apple India. Prior to working at Apple, Dhir served as executive vice president – international at America Online. Dhir previously held the position of vice president and general manager of the Application Platform division at Netscape. Earlier in his career, he was part of the leadership team for KIVA Software.

Square Mile Capital Management LLC [NEW YORK] has appointed Laurie Golub as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Square Mile, she held leadership positions at HFZ Capital Group, Africa Israel USA and Forest City Ratner Companies.

Capital Institutional Services, Inc. (CAPIS) [DALLAS] announced that its Chief Operating Officer, Jim Morrow, will retire effective January 15, 2018. Following his retirement, Morrow will be under contract with CAPIS as a consultant.

Outcome Health [CHICAGO] announced that Nandini Ramani has been named Chief Operating Officer. Ramani joined Outcome Health in August 2017 as Chief Engineering Officer. Jeffrey Geisenheimer

Estimize Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that Jeffrey Geisenheimer has been appointed as Chief Financial and Operating Officer. Jeff has served as an advisor and Estimize Board member since July 2016. He has held the role of Chief Financial Officer at various companies such as Multex, Moneyline Telerate, Ford Models and most recently Coleman Research Group.

Hostess Brands, Inc. [KANSAS CITY, Mo.] (NASDAQ: TWNK) (NASDAQ: TWNKW) announced the promotion of Andrew Jacobs to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Jacobs has been the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer since June 2017. Prior to that, he served as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer from September 2014 through May 2017 and Senior Vice President, Strategic Channels from February 2014 through September 2014. Prior to joining Hostess, Jacobs served as President of Wolfgang Candy Company from September 2012 until February 2014 and was Vice President and General Manager (US Customers) for The Hershey Company from September 2003 through May 2012.

Cromos™ Pharma [PORTLAND, Ore.] announced that Stephanie Finnegan has been appointed as its Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Cromos™ Pharma, she was the president of a US-based CRO. Prior to joining the CRO, Finnegan founded and led the biopharmaceutical industry’s first contract manufacturer dedicated to the clinical development of biotherapeutics.

Kaleido Biosciences [BEDFORD, Mass.] announced the appointment of Alison Lawton as president and chief operating officer. Lawton was most recently chief operating officer at Aura Biosciences, and previously held the same role at OvaScience. Prior to that, she spent more than 20 years in various positions of increasing responsibility at Genzyme Corporation and Sanofi. At Genzyme, Lawton served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s biosurgery unit. Previously, Lawton worked for seven years at Parke-Davis.

Rumble [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Miguel Monteverde as its chief operating officer. Monteverde is a founder and principal at Green Mountain Advisors. He also serves as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Monteverde was most recently a senior vice president of digital media at Discovery Communications. Prior to joining Discovery in 2008, Monteverde spent more than ten years at AOL in a variety of programming and business roles, including serving as general manager of AOL Video.

APPrise Mobile [NEW YORK] announced that Doug Pierce has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, he was the COO of mobile SaaS company, Scrollmotion. He has held COO positions at POSSIBLE and Bridge Worldwide. Previously, Pierce led client delivery and was part of the leadership team at enterprise social media software startup BuzzMetrics which was acquired by Nielsen Online.

Banker’s Toolbox, Inc. [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the appointment of Max Thoene as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at FATHOM Global Water Management, LLC. Thoene also has experience creating world-class operations and services at Accruent, Rackspace and Dell.

Captain D’s [NASHVILLE, Tenn.] announced that Tim Ward has been promoted to chief operating officer. Ward joined Captain D’s seven years ago, and most recently served as vice president of company operations.

Derek Ferguson

Robin Hood [NEW YORK] announced that Derek Ferguson as its chief operating officer. Most recently, Ferguson was chief operating officer of Revolt Media & TV. Prior to Revolt, Ferguson was chief growth officer of Combs Enterprises. Since joining Combs Enterprises in 1998, he’s had multiple responsibilities, including serving as CFO and managing all business operations for the company. Before joining Combs Enterprises, Ferguson was vice president of finance and operations for BMG Special Products. He was previously a manager at Bain and Company. His professional career began in 1985, when he worked at Coopers and Lybrand as an auditor and mergers and acquisitions analyst.

Prime Risk Partners [ATLANTA] announced that Robert C. Smith has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was a senior consultant and shareholder with Reagan Consulting. He most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of a leading Southwest regional firm.

Manitex International, Inc. [BRIDGEVIEW, Ill.] (NASDAQ: MNTX) announced that Steve Kiefer has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of Manitex International, Inc. Kiefer, who was promoted to President, North America in September 2017. He began his career at Eaton Corp, where he spent seven years in various new product development roles. He additionally spent over ten years at Hendrickson International, where he held numerous senior-level positions in new product development, program management, and sales & marketing. He was also president of Intellitec Products for three years. Prior to joining Manitex-Sabre as president, he was, for five years, with the Pettibone Heavy Equipment Group.

AudioEye, Inc. [TUCSON, Ariz.] (OTCQB: AEYE) announced the promotion of Lonny Sternberg to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining AudioEye in 2014 and serving as the Vice President of Operations, Lonny led Sales and Marketing initiatives for a leading Arizona-based Business Technology Solutions Company. Earlier in his career, Lonny served as a Senior Operations Leader in a private family business.

Compass [CALGARY] announced the appointment of Bill Moore as Chief Operating Officer. Bill spent 20 years with Enerflex in a variety of leadership positions. His roles included President International, Senior Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Service and General Manager, Asia Pacific.

BorgWarner [AUBURN HILLS, Mich.] (NYSE: BWA) announced the appointment of Frédéric Lissalde to executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective January 1, 2018. He most recently served as president and general manager of Turbo Systems. Prior to that, he served as vice president and general manager of BorgWarner Transmissions Systems and vice president of global sales and marketing of BorgWarner Drivetrain Systems. He also served as managing director of several operations in Europe for BorgWarner Drivetrain Systems.

Bittrex [LAS VEGAS] announced the appointment of Jim Waschak as Chief Operating Officer. Jim is joining Bittrex after 12 years at Amazon, most recently serving as Director of Information Security and CISO for Amazon’s Worldwide Consumer Organization. Prior to Amazon, Jim worked for seven years at as a Director at Capital One.
