TrackR [Goleta, Calif.] announced the appointment of Nathan Kelly as Chief Operating Officer. Kelly has worked in preparing systems, processes, people, products and partners for rapid scaling from his over 15 years of experience at industry-leading companies including Sony Ericsson, Palm and Sonos.
Hyundai Motor America [FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.] named Brian Smith its Chief Operating Officer. Smith joins Hyundai after more than 30 years with Toyota and Lexus. He most recently served as the vice president of retail transformation for Toyota USA. Previous positions at Lexus included the vice president of marketing and prior to that, the vice president of sales and dealer development. He also had responsibility for Toyota sales, truck marketing, field operations and special events throughout his career.
BioAmber Inc. [MONTREAL] (NYSE: BIOA) (TSX: BIOA) announced that it has accepted the resignation of Fabrice Orecchioni as President and Chief Operating Officer. Orecchioni will be assuming an advisory role with BioAmber until February 24, 2018.
Empire Communities [VAUGHAN, ON] announced that Timothy Royds has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Tim Royds joined the Empire team in April 2013 as VP, Finance and has over 15 years of corporate finance and construction management experience.
Planned Companies [PARSIPPANY, NJ] announced that Astrit Gorana, Executive Vice President of Planned Building Services, will be promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Planned Companies. Gorana brings with him 17 years of experience with Planned Companies where he began as a Director of Operations and advanced to Vice President of Operations and then Executive Vice President.
Performics [CHICAGO] has promoted Amy Krauss, formerly EVP, Agency Solutions, to U.S. Chief Operating Officer. Amy Krauss has served at Performics since 2007, she most recently led business operations and resource management as EVP, Agency Solutions. Prior to this role, Krauss headed the Performics Client Solutions team.
Mosquito Joe [VIRGINIA BEACH, VA] hired Lou Schager as its new Chief Operating Officer. Schager joins the Mosquito Joe team after spending more than 26 years in the U.S. Navy. He was the Commanding Officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 34. As Commander, Schager served two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan before becoming the Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Oceana in 2014.
Haskell [JACKSONVILLE, Fla.] announced that John Paul Sáenz has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Sáenz joined Haskell in 1997 assuming progressive roles of responsibility including today’s appointment to COO. During his 20 years with the company, Sáenz has held several key positions starting as a Project Manager and most recently serving as a Group President.
PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. [STAMFORD, Conn.] (OTC: PSSR) announced that Tim Campbell has become Chief Operating Officer. Tim joined PASSUR in August 2017 as Executive Vice President of Innovation and Customer Advocacy. Before joining PASSUR, Tim was most recently Senior Vice President, Air Operations for American Airlines Group. Before joining American, he was Founder and President of Mountain Vista Consulting, LLC. Prior to founding the company, Tim was president of Compass Airlines.
Biohaven Pharmaceutical Holding Company Ltd. [NEW HAVEN, Conn.] (NYSE: BHVN) announced the appointment of Clifford Bechtold as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, from November 2013 to October 2017, he served as Development Team Leader for Genetically Defined Diseases at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMS). At BMS, he also served as Head of Biologics Strategy and Operations from October 2011 to November 2013. Prior to BMS, from 2009 to 2011, Bechtold served as Vice President, Strategic Operations at Adnexus Therapeutics. Prior to that, Bechtold held multiple positions at BMS including roles in Discovery, Clinical Development and Project Planning and Management from 1991 to 2009.
Tekni-Plex, Inc. [WAYNE, Pa.] announced the promotion of Glenn Fish to chief operating officer. Previously, Fish was chief financial officer and executive vice president of the company. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Fish served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and corporate secretary with Portola Packaging, Inc. Before that, he spent 12 years with Alcan Packaging where he served in numerous finance, general management, and leadership roles, including vice president – finance, and vice president – strategy and business development, Food Packaging Americas.
CSX Corporation [JACKSONVILLE, Fla.] (NASDAQ: CSX) announced that James M. Foote is joining the company as chief operating officer. Foote will take on the responsibilities of Cindy M. Sanborn, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, and Fredrik J. Eliasson, executive vice-president and chief sales and marketing officer. Foote has over 40 years of industry experience starting with the Chicago and North Western Railroads then with Canadian National Railway Company as its executive vice-president sales and marketing. Most recently, Foote was president and chief executive officer of Bright Rail Energy.
CareerBuilder [CHICAGO and ATLANTA] announced that Irina Novoselsky is joining the company as its president and chief operating officer. She served at Novitex. Before Novitex, Novoselsky served as an investment strategist for Dubin & Co. and an investment professional at Apollo Global Management and at Morgan Stanley in the M&A group.
Liquidmetal® Technologies, Inc. [LAKE FOREST, Calif.] (OTCQB: LQMT) announced the appointment of Bruce Bromage as its Chief Operating Officer. Bromage previously served as Liquidmetal’s Executive Vice President of Business Development and Operations. Before joining Liquidmetal, Bromage was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Symmetricom’s Timing, Test, and Measurement division. Bromage has previously held executive positions with Hewlett-Packard and Hughes Aircraft Company, and he began his career as a Human Performance Engineer with Bell Laboratories.
