Horizon Air [SEATTLE] announced that Constance von Muehlen will be its chief operating officer. Von Muehlen is a former U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter pilot and seven-year veteran of Alaska Airlines Maintenance and Engineering division. Von Muehlen was most recently managing director of airframe, engine and component maintenance repair and overhaul. Before that, she served as director of engine maintenance. Prior to Alaska, von Muehlen spent 20 years in aviation maintenance leadership at Pratt and Whitney and at Air Canada.
Domino’s [ANN ARBOR, Mich.] (NYSE: DPZ) announced the promotion of Russell Weiner, President of Domino’s USA, to the newly-created role of Chief Operating Officer of Domino’s and President of the Americas, the promotion will be effective as of July 1, 2018. Weiner joined Domino’s as CMO in 2008.
Nelson Hardiman [Los Angeles, California] has announced Beth Berke, former Chief Administrative Officer of Sony Pictures Entertainment and independent Management Consultant has joined Nelson Hardiman as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to her promotion to CAO, Berke was Head of Global Human Resources for Sony Pictures. Before serving as Head of Global HR, Berke served as Chief Counsel for all Corporate and International Legal Affairs of SPE.
SL Green Realty Corp. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: SLG) announced that Edward V. Piccinich has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Executive Vice President of Operations and Construction. Over the course of 16 years at SL Green, Piccinich has expanded his role from oversight of construction, development, operations, and management of SL Green’s portfolio, to include human resources, sustainability, and information technology.
ChemoCentryx, Inc. [MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.] (NASDAQ: CCXI) announced the appointment of William (Bill) Fairey as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. His most recent position was President of Actelion Pharmaceuticals U.S. (2013-2017). Prior to that, Fairey served in numerous positions with Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd since 2001, including Head of Actelion’s Asia Pacific Region (2008-2012) and President of Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Canada (2003-2008). Fairey started his pharmaceutical career with Parke-Davis U.S., where he held various positions on the commercial side of the business.
Civitas Capital Group [DALLAS] announced Darla Wilton as Chief Operating Officer and a Managing Director. Wilton most recently was the VP and Chief Administrative Officer at Ameritas Investment Corp. Previously, Wilton held senior operations positions at BlackRock, AIG, and Charles Schwab.
ICX Media, Inc. [WASHINGTON] announced D. Scott Bowen as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. Bowen joins ICX Media from Vistaprint where he served as Vice President and General Manager of its SaaS-oriented Digital Services division. Previously, Scott was a senior executive with OpenText Corporation where he held roles including Senior Vice President, Cloud Services and President, Digital Media Group. Prior to that, Scott was Co-Founder, President and COO of Artesia Technologies that was acquired by OpenText in 2004.
Patient iP [ROCHESTER, N.Y.] announced that Mike Wilkinson has been named company President and Chief Operating Officer. He spent the past ten years at PPD where he first served as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Global Head of Clinical Development. Most recently, he served as EVP and Chief Information Officer. Prior to PPD, Wilkinson held numerous positions at Quintiles, with his last role being Global Head of Internal Medicine. Prior to his career in life sciences, Wilkinson spent 23 years in the U.S. Navy where he retired as a Commander. During his naval career, Wilkinson served in many positions, including Navy SEAL, Aerospace Physiologist, Physiology Systems Program Director, and White House Liaison Officer.
BioClin Therapeutics, Inc. [SAN RAMON, Calif.] announced the appointment of Graeme Currie as Chief Operating Officer. Currie has over 25 years of drug development experience in both pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, having held senior leadership roles at Dynavax Technologies Corp., Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Sepracor Inc. and PDL Biopharma. Graeme Currie was most recently Vice President of Clinical Science and Operations at Dynavax Technologies Corp. Prior to that, he spent six years at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President of Clinical Project Management and Operations. Prior to Regeneron, Graeme was Vice President of Clinical Operations at Sepracor Inc. and at PDL Biopharma. Graeme also spent 6 years as a Director at Gilead Sciences Inc. Prior to Gilead, he had roles at IPSEN Biopharmaceuticals Inc. and Glaxo Wellcome.
Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. [CANTON, Mass.] (NASDAQ: DNKN) announced that it has has promoted Scott Murphy to Chief Operating Officer Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. Murphy joined Dunkin’ Brands in 2004 and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Operations, Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. During his nearly 14 years with Dunkin’ Brands, Murphy has served in a variety of positions, beginning in supply chain where he was ultimately named Chief Supply Officer. For ten years Murphy also served on the Board of Directors for the National DCP, the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee-owned procurement and distribution cooperative. He began working in international restaurant operations in 2013 and was named Senior Vice President, Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. in 2015.
Kush Bottles, Inc. [SANTA ANA, Calif.] (OTCQB: KSHB) announced that Ben Wu, who has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2014, will step down. Wu will continue to support the Company as an independent consultant for a minimum of six months focusing his efforts towards ongoing projects. As a result, Jim McCormick will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer in addition to continuing to serve in his current capacity as Chief Financial Officer.
Ambry Genetics Corporation [ALISO VIEJO, Calif.] announced that Linh H. Le will serve as Ambry’s new Chief Operating Officer. Le spent the last 14 years in the healthcare industry overseeing financial operations at Medtronic’s Diabetes Intensive Insulin Business Unit. Prior to that, Linh held leadership roles at the Walt Disney Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Twentieth Century Fox and KPMG.
Numetric [SILICON SLOPES, Utah] has named Nate Bowler, Workfront co-founder, as its chief operating officer. During Bowler’s 15-year tenure at Workfront, he served in several executive leadership positions. Bowler started as the co-founding CTO, moved into market development and sales leadership roles, and concluded as executive vice president of global sales. Bowler previously worked at Novations Group and Excite@Home.
