K2M Group Holdings, Inc. [LEESBURG, Va.] (NASDAQ: KTWO) announced the appointment of Lane Major as Chief Operating Officer, a new position within K2M. Most recently Major was K2M’s Chief Strategy Officer, and prior to which he was Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Product Development. He has been with K2M since the Company’s inception in 2004.

Jose Arcilla

DealerSocket [SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.] announced that Jose Arcilla has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Arcilla joins DealerSocket from Symantec Corporation. Previously he was with Blue Coat Systems, Adobe and McAfee.

EmpiRx Health [MONTVALE, N.J.] announced the appointment of Karthik Ganesh as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating. Prior to EmpiRx Health, Karthik was the founding operations leader of CareAllies, a Cigna subsidiary. Prior to CareAllies, Karthik was the COO/CIO of QualCare.

The Waters Senior Living [MINNETONKA, Minn.] announced Tami Kozikowski as chief operating officer (COO). Most recently wshe served as corporate EVP and President of LifeSpa at Life Time Fitness. Previously she served in multiple executive positions at companies that include Best Buy, Advance Auto Parts and Arthur Anderson.

Brett Rainey

Hodges Capital Management [DALLAS] announced that Brett Rainey has joined the investment firm as Chief Operating Officer.  Rainey joins Hodges from Envestnet Asset Management where he was a senior vice president. Rainey had a 12-year tenure with Placemark Investments (acquired by Envestnet in October 2014).  Prior to Placemark, Rainey worked for JPMorgan in Boston where he was responsible for the operations of their manager outsourcing endeavor and for MFS Investment Management’s separately managed accounts division running the investment operations department.

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) [CYPRESS, Calif.] Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Don Swearingen announced he will retire, effective June 1, 2018.

OneLife Technologies Corp. [ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.] announced the appointment of John R. Muchnicki as its Chief Operating Officer and interim principal financial officer.  For the past four years, Mr. Muchnicki has assisted the Company with its product development. Prior to his relationship with OneLife Technologies, from 2009-2014 John was President of Langenscheidt Publishing Group Inc.  From 2001-2009, he was Chief Operating Officer with Intellian Capital Advisors, and acted as interim CEO, COO and CFO for several of its portfolio clients.  From 1991 through 2000, Muchnicki was responsible for six successful turnarounds with companies operating in the medical data and scientific information industries.

RiVidium Inc. [MANASSAS, VA.] (dba TripleCyber) announced that Lawrence West has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), taking over from interim COO Xio Smith, who will now be the Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) for RiVidium. West was previously President and Chief Executive Officer for Poseidon Group, LLC.

Fleet Complete [TORONTO] welcomes Alex Armanious as the new Chief Operating Officer. Armanious was most recently Senior Vice President Product & Technology at Mosaic and Chief Information Officer at LafargeHolcim before that.

LINC Housing Corporation [LONG BEACH, Calif.] announced that Suny Lay Chang was promoted to chief operating officer. Chang, who joined LINC in 2007, has nearly 20 years of experience in affordable housing, community development, and strategic management.

Townsquare Media, Inc. [GREENWICH, Conn.] (NYSE: TSQ) announced that Erik Hellum has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Local Media. Hellum joined Townsquare in August 2010 following the acquisition of GAP Radio Broadcasting, where he served as President of GAP West from May 2008 to August 2010. Prior to joining GAP West, Hellum worked at Bonneville International Communications, where he was Vice President/Market Manager of WIL/WRTH in St. Louis, MO from October 2002 to November 2004 and spent 4 years as Vice President/Market Manager of KTAR AM/FM and KPKX in Phoenix, AZ from November 2004 to April 2008. Previously, Hellum was Vice President—Sales for AM/FM. He began his career at Katz Radio, where he held positions of increasing responsibility.

World Fuel Services Corporation [MIAMI] (NYSE: INT) announced the appointment of Jeff Smith as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. Smith most recently served as Chief Information Officer of International Business Machines Corporation from August 2014 through May 2017. Smith has also led both information technology and corporate business strategy in his roles as Chief Information Officer or Chief Executive Officer of large complex organizations in telecommunications, technology and financial services, including Suncorp Business Services, Telstra Corporation and Honeywell.

Aurora Flight Sciences [MANASSAS, Va.] named Matthew G. Hutchison to be the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Hutchison replaces Mark C. Cherry. Hutchison currently serves as Vice President for Engineering at Aurora.  He joined Aurora in 1993 as an engineering analyst.

Mollie Spilman

Criteo S.A. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: CRTO) announced the promotion of Mollie Spilman to Chief Operating Officer. Spilman joined Criteo in 2014 and leads all commercial teams revenue, supply, operations and marketing globally. Prior to Criteo, Spilman had a two-decade career in advertising included executive roles at Millennial Media, Yahoo, Advertising.com/AOL and Time Inc.

TigerGraph [REDWOOD CITY, CA] announced that Todd Blaschka has joined the company as chief operating officer. Prior to TigerGraph, Blaschka was vice president of Worldwide Sales at Clustrix, Inc. Blaschka additionally served as vice president of sales at Dataguise and has held various sales and marketing leadership positions at IBM, Electric Cloud and Sendmail, Inc.

Parks Blackwell

PAVLOV [FORT WORTH, Texas] announced that Parks Blackwell, has joined Fort Worth-based as chief operating officer and senior vice president of digital. Prior to joining PAVLOV, Blackwell was senior vice president and West Coast managing director for iProspect.

Endologix, Inc. [IRVINE, Calif.] (NASDAQ: ELGX) announced that it has appointed John Onopchenko as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Onopchenko was Executive Vice President for Acutus Medical. Prior to that, he served on the Board of Directors of Volcano Corporation and later became the company’s Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Following Volcano’s acquisition by Philips, John was retained as Senior Vice President and Head of Therapy Strategy. Before joining Volcano, Onopchenko spent 10 years at Johnson & Johnson.

Elizabeth Knorr

HealthCare Information Management, Inc. (HCIM) [WALNUT CREEK, CALIF.] announced the addition of Elizabeth Knorr as Chief Operating Officer. She previously served 15 years in various client management and operations roles at DST Health Solutions. She was most recently DST’s Chief of Staff.

Postmedia Network Inc. [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Andrew MacLeod to the newly created role of President and Chief Operating Officer. Andrew MacLeod joined Postmedia in 2014 as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Westmoreland Coal Company [ENGLEWOOD, Colo.] (NASDAQ: WLB) announced that it has promoted Joseph E. Micheletti to Chief Operating Officer. Micheletti replaces Westmoreland’s former President and Chief Operating Officer, John Schadan. Micheletti joined Westmoreland in 1998 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility including, most recently, Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer.  During his nearly 20 years with Westmoreland, Micheletti has also served as Senior Vice President of Coal Operations.  Micheletti also serves as a director of the Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Institute.

EdX.org [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Adam Medros as the company’s president and chief operating officer. Medros comes to edX from TripAdvisor, Inc. where he was Senior Vice President of Global Product, leader of the hotels vertical, and a member of the executive team. He served at TripAdvisor for 13 years. Before TripAdvisor, Medros worked in product management and finance at Amazon and as a business analyst for Nordstrom’s eCommerce business.

Adcomm [MARY ESTHER, FLA.] announced that Scott Snyder, currently Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of President and COO. Prior to joining Adcomm, he served as Chief Marketing Officer of Trident Marketing, Account Manager at Perfect10, and Managing Partner at Anything Wireless.
