AltaPacific Bancorp [SANTA ROSA, Calif.] (OTCBB: ABNK) reported the promotion of Frank Basirico to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Bancorp and Bank. Frank joined the Company in November 2009 and has been serving as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since October 2015 after being promoted from his role as Executive Vice President – Mergers and Acquisitions for the Bancorp and President, Southern California Region. In May 2014 Frank was appointed to the Board of Directors of AltaPacific Bancorp and AltaPacific Bank.
Great American Insurance Group [CINCINNATI] announced that Gary J. Gruber was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Great American Insurance Company, effective January 1, 2017. Mr. Gruber assumes this title from Donald D. Larson, who has held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer for the past seven years. Mr. Larson recently announced that he will retire effective March 10, 2017, after more than 43 years of distinguished service to the Company. Mr. Gruber started his career with Great American Insurance Company in 1977, and served in both financial and operational roles within the organization.
The John Maxwell Company [DULUTH, Ga.] announced the appointment of Kim Shreckengost to the newly-created position of chief operating officer. Prior to joining The John Maxwell Company, Shreckengost was executive vice president – chief administrative officer of AMB Group, LLC, the parent company of the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United FC, PGA TOUR Superstore and Mountain Sky Guest Ranch. Shreckengost served five years at Home Depot, first as vice president – investor relations and later as vice president – corporate affairs & executive to the CEO before joining AMB Group in 2001. Prior to her time at Home Depot, she spent 15 years with Delta Airlines in areas of increasing responsibility. During her last eight years at Delta, she led the company’s investor relations department.
Parcel Pending [IRVINE, CA] announced the addition of Chief Operating Officer Brad Farmer to its leadership team. Prior to joining Parcel Pending, Farmer served as CEO of St. Vincent De Paul of San Mateo County. Farmer is the former CEO of retail apparel company Draper’s and Damon’s, a role he held for 16 years.
FIRST [NEW YORK] announced that Patrick Keane has been named Chief Operating Officer. Following six years at Carlson Marketing where he coordinated onsite operations for global meetings, events and conferences, including three Olympic Games, Mr. Keane spent 10 years with Morgan Stanley in a variety of corporate event positions. Most recently, Mr. Keane served as a Director in Meeting Management & Event Strategy at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Xenetic Biosciences, Inc. [LEXINGTON, Mass.] (NASDAQ:XBIO) announced it has appointed Jeffrey F. Eisenberg as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the Xenetic management team, Mr. Eisenberg has served on the Company’s Board of Directors since July 2016. Previously, he served at Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for over a decade beginning as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and departing as the President and CEO and a member of the Board of Directors. Currently, Mr. Eisenberg serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Mabvax Therapeutics, Inc.
ForeverGreen Worldwide Corporation [LINDON, Utah] (OTC: FVRG) announced the appointment of Chris Patterson as COO. Patterson returns to ForeverGreen after most recently spending four years in the high-tech Aerospace Industry.
Excelligence Learning Corporation [MONTEREY, Calif.] announced that Dipak Golechha has been named President and Chief Operating Officer. Golechha joins Excelligence after spending the past two years as Chief Financial Officer at NBTY Inc. Prior to his NBTY experience, he spent 18 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of global leadership and executive roles, including the last five years as Divisional Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer.
Akervall Technologies Inc. [SALINE, Mich.] announced that Kathy Capelli joined the leadership board as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Kathy will be responsible for company’s operation, supply chain, procurement and overall financial success. Kathy Capelli spent the last seven years at Flatout Bread.
