Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: CLUB) announced that Greg Bartoli, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, will be leaving the Company.
NCR Corporation [ATLANTA] (NYSE: NCR) announced that Mark D. Benjamin is joining the company as President and Chief Operating Officer. Benjamin joins NCR from Automatic Data Processing, Inc. He joined ADP as an account representative and moved up in a number of leadership positions, including ADP’s small business and employer services divisions. Most recently, Benjamin served as the president of ADP’s Global Enterprise Solutions division.
Nerium International [ADDISON, Texas] announced that Deborah K. Heisz has been appointed as President. Under her expanded scope of leadership, Deborah will retain the Chief Operating Officer title within her new position.
Systech International [PRINCETON, N.J.] announced that Lou Arace is now President and Chief Operating Officer. Robert DeJean will continue with the company as founder and CEO. Arace has been with Systech since 2014. He joined Systech from Dorman Products Inc., where he served as supply chain senior vice president. Prior to Dorman, he served as a partner at Logistics Resources International and chief supply chain officer for NutriSystem.
EpiThany [SEATTLE] announced the appointment of David Poston as Chief Operating Officer. Poston joins EpiThany from the Allen Institute, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and previously as Chief Operating Officer. Poston joined the Allen Institute in 2011. Prior to the Allen Institute, Poston served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer for AmpliPhi Biosciences Corporation (formerly Targeted Genetics Corporation). Poston has previously held a series of finance and leadership positions at Corixa Corporation (now GSK), Honeywell Marine Systems (now Raytheon), Todd Shipyards Corporation (now Vigor Industrial), and Olin/Rocket Research Company (now Aerojet Rocketdyne).
Oasis Outsourcing [WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.] announced that Kelley Castell has joined as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Castell was the Senior Vice President of Client Services and Portfolio Management for First Data Corporation. He has also had a long and distinguished military career as an officer in the U.S. Navy, and is currently serving as the Executive Officer of the Naval Cooperation and Guidance for Shipping Unit in San Diego. He also continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
Riddell Williams [SEATTLE] announced that Jay Dobberstein has joined the company as the new Chief Operating Officer. Jay was most recently the Executive Director at the Seattle law firm of Betts, Patterson & Mines, Previously Jay was Vice President of Finance for NorthWest Research Associates in Redmond, Washington. Before moving to the Seattle area, Jay worked in finance for Honeywell and taught accounting and finance at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
FCI [CHANTILLY, Va.] announced that Danny Pummill has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Pummill was previously the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Health and Medical Oversight.
Siluria Technologies [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Dr. Erik C. Scher as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Scher, a Siluria co-founder, served as Executive Vice President prior to assuming the Interim CEO and President role at the end of 2015.
Great Minds [WASHINGTON] announced that Joe Heider has been named Chief Operating Officer. Heider comes to the non-profit most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Global Education at Wiley. Before assuming leadership roles at Wiley, Heider held key positions at education publisher Prentice Hall.
ZappRx [BOSTON] announced the hiring of Sandy DiCesare as Chief Operating Officer. DiCesare most recently served as VP of Commercial Operations at Takeda Oncology. She joined Millennium Pharmaceuticals in 1998 as VP, Information Technology and then served as VP, Launch Platform in 2002.
MarineMax, Inc. [CLEARWATER, Fla.] (NYSE: HZO) announced that the Company’s Board of Directors has promoted Brett McGill to Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Brett McGill has served as Executive Vice President Operations since October 1, 2015 after serving as Vice President of West Operations since May 2012. Previously, Mr. McGill served as one of the Company’s Regional Presidents from May 2006 to 2012. Mr. McGill began his career with MarineMax at its formation in 1998 and served in several roles with the Company in positions that included Director of Information Services and eventually Vice President of Information Technology, Service and Parts, before moving into broader operational roles. Mr. McGill began his professional career at a software development firm.
CB&I [THE WOODLANDS, Texas] (NYSE: CBI) announced that Patrick K. Mullen has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Mullen most recently served as Executive Vice President and President of CB&I’s Engineering & Construction operating group. He joined CB&I in 2007 through the company’s acquisition of Lummus Global and has worked in strategic, operational and commercial leadership roles throughout the company. Mr. Mullen has worked in the energy infrastructure industry for more than 25 years and currently serves on Vectren Corporation’s board of directors.
On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina® [DALLAS] has announced the addition of Monte Batson as its new Chief Operating Officer. Batson was most recently Regional Vice President of Operations with Bloomin’ Brands. His restaurant industry experience includes names such as Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.
Waterford Institute [SALT LAKE CITY] announced the addition of Andy Myers as Chief Operating Officer. Myers started his career at Waterford in 1995 as a sales rep in Washington DC, and went on to hold several industry leadership roles, including Pearson Education’s COO for digital learning, the CEO at Scientific Learning and most recently, Chief Strategy Officer at Renaissance Learning.
Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: ALNY) announced that Dr. Yvonne Greenstreet has joined as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Greenstreet was previously Senior Vice President and Head of Medicines Development at Pfizer. Prior to Pfizer, she held roles of increasing responsibility at GlaxoSmithKline, including Senior Vice President and Chief of Strategy for Research and Development, Senior Vice President for Medicines Development, and Chief Medical Officer for Europe.
LiveOps, Inc. [SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.] announced that senior vice president and general manager, Greg Hanover, has been appointed chief operating officer. Hanover joined LiveOps in 2008. Then in 2012, he was named vice president of community operations. In 2014 was named senior vice president and general manager. Greg has held previous contact center leadership roles at the West Corporation and InPulse Response Group.
ClickBank [BOISE, Idaho] announced the appointment of Mick Wiskerchen as Chief Operating Officer. Wiskerchen recently served as an Executive Business Partner at the global corporation, Micron Technology, where he led World-Wide Sales, Supply Chain and Corporate Affairs, and Information Technology solutions. Prior to Micron Technology, he held various leadership positions at AT&T Wireless. He also was at Who’s Calling.
Simpler Trading [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the appointment of Nick Ferris as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Simpler Trading, Ferris launched the first B2B financial social network, the first financial search engine, oversaw global marketing for Institutional Investor and launched dozens of new businesses including numerous external acquisitions to accelerate growth. He was most recently Global Business Director at Bloomberg. In 2015 Ferris was named “Marketer of Year” at the Media Industry News Awards for his work.
