IRX Therapeutics, Inc. (IRX) [NEW YORK] has appointed Monil Shah as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Shah was the Medical Affairs Lead for Immuno-Oncology at Bristol Myers Squibb. Shah helped start a biotech company as the Head of Clinical Operations and Development at Ventrus Biosciences. Prior to Ventrus, Shah led the solid tumor development programs and was eventually offered the opportunity to lead the clinical portfolio and strategic planning function at Celgene Corporation. He led the Oncology Development and Operations activities at Fibrogen and Novacea. Shah began his career at Novartis in the Oncology Early Development Group leading clinical trials and then continued to grow his skills in the Medical Sciences Group at Amgen.
World and Main, LLC [CRANBURY, N.J.] appointed Ned Finch as Chief Operating Officer. Finch spent twenty years at Jarden Corporation / Newell Brands. During his tenure at Jarden, Finch held wide-ranging roles including as Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Operations. Prior to joining Jarden in 1996, Ned played senior sourcing roles with Nine West Group.
IOMAXIS [WASHINGTON] announced that Mike LeFever, has joined the company as its chief operating officer. LeFever joins IOMAXIS as a retired three-star admiral acclaimed for his expertise in international diplomacy, counterterrorism, cross-functional coordination, disaster and humanitarian relief efforts and strategic operational planning. Since his retirement, LeFever co-founded a leadership development and advisory company, Invictus Advisors. He also served as a senior participant on multiple U.S. delegations working with foreign partners to tackle mutual national security challenges and as a Senior Advisor for the McChrystal Group and Department of Defense.
Ygrene Energy Fund [SANTA ROSA, Calif.] announced that Stephen Tich has joined the company as its Chief Operating Officer. Tich has held a number of senior leadership roles within the financial services industry, spending most of his career at HSBC and GE Capital. Mike Cary, who previously held this position, has moved to the newly-created role of Ygrene’s Chief Revenue Officer.
Gateway One Lending & Finance, LLC [ANAHEIM, Calif.] a subsidiary of TCF National Bank and an indirect subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation announced the appointment of Andrew B. Sturm as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Andrew Sturm joined Gateway One in 2010, serving as executive vice president, loan servicing. He has more than 16 years of experience in the auto finance industry and his prior experience includes serving in senior leadership roles with Onyx Acceptance Corporation.
AECOM [NEW YORK] announced Paul Praylo has been named Chief Operating Officer of Construction Services (CS), a global construction division. Praylo is a well-respected leader across the company for over 15 years, he most recently led finance and administration for CS. Before AECOM, he held leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting.
GPMI [PHOENIX, ARIZONA] announced the addition of Chuck Tornabene as the new Chief Operating Officer. Chuck brings over 30 years of experience as executive with leading Companies within the industry including his executive rolls with Turtle Wax, Qualitor and Pylon.
SelfStorageAuction.com [PHOENIX, AZ] has hired John Springfield as its Chief Operating Officer. Springfield was the former vice president of product management and marketing for OpenTech Alliance. Springfield has been a product manager for Apollo Education Group, CCH – Workflow Solutions, PatchLink and Sage Software. He was also director of operations and marketing for Pleasant Harbor, business development manager for Pragmatic Marketing and a technical consultant for Ciber.
Together for Safer Roads (TSR) [WASHINGTON] announced Greg Martin has joined TSR as chief operating officer and executive director. Prior to joining TSR, he served as executive director, global public policy, at General Motors Company. Additionally, Martin previously worked at the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
LOGiQ Asset Management Inc. [TORONTO, ONTARIO] (TSX: LGQ) announced the appointment of Stasha Ninkovic as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, she held a senior operations role in Client Solutions with CIBC Mellon. Prior to that, Ninkovic served as Director of Operations for Canoe Financial and AVP, Unit Head of the Custody department with State Street Bank and Trust Canada. She also has been an active member of the IFIC Operations Working Group.
