Envision Healthcare Corporation [NASHVILLE, Tenn. & GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.] (NYSE: EVHC) announced that Karey Witty has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Brian Jackson, current COO. Witty most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Corizon Health. Prior to joining Corizon, Witty served as CFO for naviHealth, Inc. Witty also served as CFO of HealthSpring from 2009 until its acquisition by CIGNA in 2012. He was with Centene Corporation for eight years, including six years as CFO and one year as Chief Executive Officer of its Health Plan Business unit.
Flywheel Sports [NEW YORK] announced that Bill Stauffer has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Stauffer joins Flywheel after working at EHE International, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to EHE, Stauffer held senior operating roles at high-growth brands such as SoulCycle, Juice Generation and Equinox.
Swagelok Company [SOLON, Ohio] announced that William Canady will join the organization as president and chief operating officer. Canady brings nearly 30 years of industrial management experience, most recently as senior vice president and president, Industrial Products Group, Hillenbrand, Inc.
Papa Murphy’s Holdings, Inc. [VANCOUVER, Wash.] (NASDAQ: FRSH) announced that Chief Financial Officer Mark Hutchens has been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mark Hutchens has served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since January 2014 and was promoted to Executive Vice President in June of this year. Previously, Hutchens served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer – International, for Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. Prior to joining Bloomin’ Brands, he held a variety of leadership positions at Office Depot, Yum! Brands, PepsiCo’s KFC subsidiary and Ford Motor Company.
American Renal Associates Holdings, Inc. [BEVERLY, Mass.] (NYSE: ARA) announced that it has named Don E. Williamson as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Williamson has served as one of ARA’s National Chief Medical Officers since 2011, and has been an ARA physician partner since 2002. Williamson most recently served as President, CEO and Managing Partner of Nephrology Associates.
Bank of Marin Bancorp [NOVATO, Calif.] (NASDAQ: BMRC) announced that James S. Kimball will be joining the Bank as an executive vice president and Chief Operating Officer, effective October 16, 2017. Kimball has more than 28 years of commercial banking experience and joins Bank of Marin from Wells Fargo Bank, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Region Head for the North Coast Regional Commercial Banking Office and Wine Industry Specialty Group. Prior to Wells Fargo, Kimball served as Regional President of Northern California and Nevada for Wachovia Bank. Earlier in his career, Kimball spent more than 20 years with Bank of America.
STORE Capital Corporation [SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.] (NYSE: STOR) announced that Mary Fedewa, Executive Vice President – Acquisitions, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Mary will continue to serve as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.
Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: VYGR) announced the appointment of Matthew P. Ottmer as chief operating officer. Ottmer joins Voyager most recently from Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he was chief operating officer. Prior to this role, Matt spent 16 years at Biogen, Inc., in a variety of leadership roles, including as senior vice president, strategy and emerging businesses, head of Tysabri business, chief of staff to the chief executive officer, president of Syntonix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and vice president of global operations.
Rational Surgical Solutions [DES MOINES, Iowa] announced the hiring of Dennis J. Murphy as chief operating officer and senior vice president of sales. With more than 25 years of experience in technology and sales, Murphy most recently served as vice president of sales and business development at Nexistant. Prior to his tenure at Nexistant, Murphy served as vice president of managed services at Telaid. Prior to that, he spent nine years as executive vice president at SPL Inc. and more than 10 years as vice president of enterprise technology at Goldman Sachs & Co.
