Kaleido Biosciences [BEDFORD, MA] announced that Alison Lawton, Kaleido’s president and chief operating officer, has been appointed as chief executive officer. Joshua Brumm has been promoted to COO and will continue to serve as Kaleido’s chief financial officer. Brumm joined Kaleido as its CFO in April 2018. Prior to joining Kaleido, Brumm was COO and CFO at Versartis. Prior to that, Brumm was executive vice president of finance and principal financial officer at Pharmacyclics and CFO at ZELTIQ Aesthetics.
Boyne Resorts [BOYNE FALLS, MI] announced Rick Kelley, previously senior vice president of mountain operations, has been appointed chief operating officer of eastern and Michigan mountain resorts, to serve alongside John McGregor, chief operating officer of western ski areas and Tennessee attractions. Kelley entered the Industry in 1977 as a snowmaker at Loon Mountain Resort in New Hampshire. Kelley advanced through various roles at Loon to be named the resort’s general manager in 1998 and served in that role for nearly twenty years. Kelley joined the Boyne Resorts team in 2007 when the company acquired operations at Loon from Booth Creek Ski Holdings. Kelley was promoted to Boyne Resorts’ senior vice president of mountain operations in July of 2017.
Viral Launch [INDIANAPOLIS, IN] has named Mitch Black its new President and Chief Operating Officer. Most recently Black served as the CEO of Author Solutions. Prior to that, Black served for five years as president of MOBI. Black spent 25 years in other executive positions with BrightPoint (now Ingram Micro), PCS Wireless and Verizon Wireless.
Treliant [WASHINGTON, DC] announced that B. Scott Fisher has been named Chief Operating Officer. Over the past two years, Prior to joining Treliant, Fisher held senior leadership positions with First Niagara Financial Group and Wachovia National Bank.
Exterran Corporation [HOUSTON, TX] (NYSE: EXTN) announced it has appointed Girish K. Saligram as Chief Operating Officer. Saligram joined Exterran in August 2016, as Senior Vice President of Global Services of Exterran Corporation. Before joining Exterran, Saligram spent 20 years with GE in various functional and commercial positions.
Bombardier [MONTRÉAL, QC] (TSX: BBD.B) announced the appointment of Danny Di Perna as Chief Operating Officer, Aerospace, effective September 15, 2018. Most recently, Di Perna served as Vice President of Global Sourcing for GE Power. Prior to that, Di Perna held a number of senior leadership positions, with United Technologies Corporation, including Senior Vice President of Operations for UTC’s Pratt & Whitney Division and Vice President and General Manager of the Auxiliary Power Division for the Hamilton Sundstrand Division. Before that, Di Perna held the position of Senior Vice President, Aircraft and Engine Maintenance at Air Canada Technical Services.

Worthington Industries [COLUMBUS, OH] (NYSE: WOR) announced that Mark Russell, president and COO is retiring. Geoff Gilmore has been named vice president and chief operating officer of Worthington Industries and will also continue to lead the Pressure Cylinders business. Gilmore was named president of Pressure Cylinders in May 2016 and served as president of Steel Processing from 2012 to 2016. Gilmore has been with the Company since 1998 in Steel sales.
PrescribeWellness [IRVINE, CA] announced that Patty Kumbera has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Before being acquired by Cardinal Healthcare in 2015, Kumbera co-founded and then spent 15 years serving as Chief Operating Officer of OutcomesMTM.
Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. [HOUSTON, TX] (NYSE: PAA) announced that Willie Chiang, PAA’s current Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has been formally approved by the Board of Directors as CEO. Chiang joined PAA in 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – U.S. and was appointed to the Board of Directors in February 2017. In November 2017, Chiang was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer for all of the Partnership’s operations. Chiang has more than 30 years of energy industry experience, having served in a number of executive leadership roles within large, complex organizations like PAA. Prior to joining PAA, Chiang held the positions of Executive Vice President, Operations at Occidental Petroleum, and Senior Vice President of Refining, Marketing, Transportation and Commercial for ConocoPhillips.
