Get Credit Healthy, Inc. [SUNRISE, FL] announced the hiring of Rob Pommier as Chief Operating Officer of GCH. Pommier was an Executive Officer for Palomar Savings & Loan which changed its name to Washington Mutual Bank, FA and subsequently operated as part of JP Morgan Chase Bank. Pommier was formerly Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Sales & Client Services for LenderLive. Prior to LenderLive, Pommier was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Chief Operating Officer of Docitt. Prior to Docitt, Pommier was Regional Vice President of Sales for Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. Prior to Altisource, Pommier was Senior Vice President Business Development and Marketing for OpenClose® Solutions.
Steel Partners Holdings L.P. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: SPLP) has named William Fejes as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer. Fejes also serves as President of Steel Services and of Steel Partners Holdings Diversified Industrial segment. Fejes was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Handy & Harman Ltd. from June 2016 until its full integration into Steel Partners Holdings in September 2017, and has been the President of SL Industries, Inc. since June 2010. Before joining the Company, Fejes was the Chief Operating Officer of Seakeeper, Inc. Prior to that, Fejes was the President and Chief Executive Officer of TB Wood’s Corporation. Fejes held various executive and management roles for 18 years at Danaher Corporation.
Orange Lake Resorts [ORLANDO, FL] announced that John Staten has been named its Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Staten served as COO for Kaplan Higher Education. Prior to joining Kaplan, Staten was the CFO and Senior Vice President of Operations at DayJet Corporation. Before that role, Staten worked as the CFO for NetSpeak Corporation.
Pingboard [AUSTIN, TX] announced that James Bain has joined the team as Chief Operating Officer. Bain served as COO at Parking Panda. Prior to parking, Bain worked at Groupon as a leader in the sales organization.
Gibraltar Industries, Inc. [BUFFALO, NY] (NASDAQ: ROCK) announced the appointment of Pat Burns as Chief Operating Officer. Burns was most recently Senior Vice President, Strategy at Dover Corporation from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, Burns served as Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Johnson Controls from 2014 to 2016 after spending the previous five years with Danaher in operating company leadership positions. Prior to these roles, Burns held growth and leadership roles at Trex, DuPont and Owens Corning.
Alion Science and Technology [MCLEAN, VA] announced that Sid Fuchs has been named Chief Operating Officer. Fuchs, previously the president and CEO of MacAulay-Brown, Inc., joined Alion’s senior leadership team when MacB was acquired by Alion, in August 2018. Prior to MacB, Fuchs was the president and CEO of OAO Technology Solutions, the CEO and a director of ATS Corporation and the President and CEO of TASC, a Northrop Grumman subsidiary.
Abstrakt Marketing Group [ST. LOUIS, MO] has hired Matt Ronken, who joins as Chief Operating Officer. Ronken joins Abstrakt from Nestle Purina, where he held several leadership positions. In the last 10 years, Ronken’s roles included President and GM of an acquisition (Zuke’s Pet Nutrition, Durango CO), Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Purina’s Market Development Organization. Ronken’s impressive career includes leading a department that acted as a liaison between Sales & Marketing, including Portfolio Development, Category Leadership Work, and Shopper Marketing.
Baldwin Risk Partners [TAMPA, FL] announced the appointment of Dan Galbraith as Chief Operating Officer. Galbraith comes to BRP from Stericycle where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for their North America Compliance Services Businesses.
MTX Group [FRISCO, TX, & ALBANY, NY] announced the addition of Will Sowell as their Chief Operations Officer. Sowell has previously worked with Ingo Money Inc. and Green Dot Corporation as a COO. Sowell has also spent more than a decade with GE Money.
PulteGroup, Inc. [ATLANTA, GA] (NYSE: PHM) announced that John Chadwick has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer effective April 1, 2019. Chadwick replaces Harmon Smith who had previously announced his plans to retire. Chadwick has had a 28-year career with the Company, and most recently served as Area President, West.
Sonic Boom Wellness [CARLSBAD, CA] announced the addition of Ryan Van Der Vorste to its executive leadership team as Chief Operating Officer. Van Der Vorste joins Sonic Boom from Cerner Corporation, where he served as Director of Wellness Operations. Van Der Vorste’s wellness career began at PureWellness as Director of Operations.
BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe) [NEW YORK] announced that Mark Thorne has been appointed Global Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Thorne spent the past 20 plus years with Hill+Knowlton Strategies in a range of leadership roles, most recently serving as Global Chief Financial Officer and Global Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Thorne was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, North America, for WPP, and before that he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Beatrice International Food Company.
Signal [CHICAGO, IL] announced that James (Jay) Stocki has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Stocki comes to Signal from Experian, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Strategy for the company’s Marketing Services business unit. Prior to his tenure at Experian, Stocki founded and grew his own digital transformation consulting business. Stocki also has held senior executive roles at Yahoo!, Corio and NVIDIA.
The Carlyle Group [WASHINGTON, DC] (NASDAQ: CG) announced that Christopher Finn has become Chief Operating Officer. Finn joined Carlyle in 1996 and has served in a variety of leadership roles including spearheading the firm’s expansion into Europe as Managing Director, International, in London. Finn served as Chief Operating Officer of Carlyle’s Corporate Private Equity and Global Credit business segments and eventually took the position of Global Head of Operations, in January 2018. Prior to joining Carlyle, Finn served as Executive Vice President of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
