Workiva [AMES, IA] (NYSE: WK) announced that the company has named Julie Iskow to be Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective October 1, 2019. Iskow was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Medidata Solutions. Iskow also serves on the Board of Directors of Vocera Communications. Prior to Medidata, Iskow was Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at WageWorks. Before joining WageWorks, ISkow spent more than a decade in engineering and technology leadership positions, including Vice President of Engineering at Asyst Technologies and GW Associates.
EV Connect [EL SEGUNDO, CA] announced that Patrick Macdonald-King has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Before joining EV Connect, Macdonald-King co-founded and led DAX. Macdonald-King continued to serve as President of the Americas at Prime Focus Technologies after the acquisition of DAX.
WisdomTree Investments [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: WETF) announced the appointment of Jarrett Lilien as President and Chief Operating Officer. Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree’s founder, Chief Executive Officer and President, will serve as WisdomTree’s Chief Executive Officer from that date forward. Lilien served on WisdomTree’s Board of Directors from November 2008 until he stepped down in December 2017, when he was appointed as WisdomTree’s Executive Vice President and Head of Emerging Technologies. Before taking on an executive role with WisdomTree, Lilien was most recently the Managing Partner of Bendigo Partners, LLC. From 2003 to 2008, Lilien served as President and Chief Operating Officer of E*TRADE Financial Corporation and earlier as President and Chief Brokerage Officer of subsidiary E*TRADE Securities. Prior to joining E*TRADE, Lilien spent 10 years as Chief Executive Officer of TIR (Holdings) Limited. Lilien currently serves as President of the Jazz Foundation of America and is on the Boards of Directors of Barton Mines Corporation and the Baryshnikov Arts Center.
MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center [LAGUNA HILLS, CA] announced that Catherine Shitara is the new Chief Operating Officer at in Laguna Hills. Shitara previously spearheaded patient safety and quality outcome initiatives as a Prospect Medical Holdings National Vice President. Shitara also served as CEO and Hospital Administrator for Alta Hospital Systems’ three acute-care and behavioral health facilities.
Cubic Corporation [SAN DIEGO, CA] (NYSE: CUB) announced its Cubic Mission Solutions business division appointed Brian LaRoche as vice president and chief operating officer. Prior to joining Cubic, LaRoche held leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems, Inc.
Alpha Edison [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that Angela Sun has been named Chief Operating Officer and Partner for the investment firm. Sun joins the company after a decade at Bloomberg LP, where she served most recently as Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development and created the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index. Sun is on the board of directors at The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU) and is a Trustee of Second Stage Theater and the Museum of Arts and Design.
The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization [ALEXANDRIA, VA] announced that Suzi Johnson will join the NHPCO leadership team as Chief Operating Officer in October 2019. Johnson currently serves as the Vice President of Sharp Hospice and Palliative Care. Johnson joined Sharp HospiceCare in 1986 and brings her 33 years of experience to her new position at NHPCO.
