Jopari Solutions, Inc. [CONCORD, CA] announce the appointment of John Gilmartin as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Gilmartin was Sr. Vice President of Service Operations for Mitchell International and Board Member of GT Motive. Gilmartin also worked for several P&C Insurance carriers during his professional career.
Atento S.A. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: ATTO) announced the appointment of Gustavo Tasner as Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Committee, effective November 1, 2019. Before joining Atento, Tasner served 14 years at Capgemini, where he held key positions, such as Head of Business Services Operations for the Americas. Prior to that Tasner was Head of LatAm Operations for Capgemini Business Services and lead Delivery Operations for Capgemini Latin America BPO division.
The Climate Service [DURHAM, NC] announced the addition of Joseph Lake as Chief Operating Officer. Lake was formerly Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Climate Risk at The Economist Group.
SleepScore Labs [CARLSBAD, CA] officially appointed Gil Adato as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining SleepScore Labs, Adato served as Vice President for Digital Health at Philips. Prior to Philips, Adato worked for Samsung for over four years at the Chairman’s Office and later at the Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center.
LinQuest Corporation [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Greg Young as Chief Operating Officer, effective November 1. Young previously served as vice president and general manager of LinQuest’s Operational Systems Support Solutions group. Prior to joining LinQuest, Young served in several leadership positions at Veridian and General Dynamics.
Landmark Theatres [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Paul Serwitz as Landmark Theatres’ President and Chief Operating Officer. Serwitz brings his highly regarded reputation to Landmark after serving 17 years as Vice President of Film for Regal Entertainment Group. Prior to Paul’s 25-year tenure at Regal, he was in Film with Toronto-based Cineplex Odeon in Washington D.C. and originally was in Operations and Film with Neighborhood Entertainment Group in.
Therapy Brands [BIRMINGHAM, AL] announced Vickie Westmark has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Therapy Brands, Westmark worked for Kronos in human capital management, holding various leadership roles in operations, mergers and acquisitions, sales, marketing, services and engineering. Westmark began her career at Lockheed Martin and Systems & Electronics, Inc., leading engineering teams.
LandscapeHub [CHICAGO, IL] announced Josh Chapman as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer. Before joining LandscapeHub, Chapman was the COO and Treasurer at MATTER. Prior to MATTER, Chapman was the CEO of GiveForward. Chapman was on the senior management team at Cars.com during their $3 billion acquisition by Gannett.
29Bison [PHILADELPHIA, PA] announced the hiring of Eric Lane as Partner and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining 29Bison, Lane served as Human Resources Officer for Cigna’s Government and Business segment, as well as the company’s Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Global Human Resources Director. Lane has also held several Human Resource leadership roles for PepsiCo and Lockheed Martin.
National Western Life Group, Inc. [AUSTIN, TX] announced that Rey Perez will assume the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of National Western Life Insurance Company (NWLIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of NWLGI, effective January 1, 2020. Kitty K. Nelson, the current President and Chief Operating Officer of NWLIC has informed the Board of Directors of her intention to step down from this role effective December 31, 2019. Nelson will remain a member of the Board of Directors of NWLIC, and will also serve as a Special Advisor to the company. Perez joined NWLIC’s Law Department in September 2000, and most recently served as Executive Vice President – Chief Legal Officer.
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. [PURCHASE, NY] (NASDAQ: AAWW) announced that James A. (Jim) Forbes will be promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, effective January 1, 2020. Forbes will succeed John W. Dietrich as Chief Operating Officer. As previously announced, Dietrich will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2020. In addition to his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide, Forbes will serve as Chief Operating Officer of the company’s subsidiaries Atlas Air, Inc. and Southern Air, Inc. Forbes is currently Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer for Southern Air. Forbes joined Atlas in 1997 as Senior Director of Ground Operations, and was promoted to Vice President, Worldwide Ground Operations in 2001. In 2008, Forbes was named Senior Vice President for System Performance and Quality at Polar Air Cargo Worldwide, Atlas’ joint venture with DHL Express.
KORE Mining Ltd. [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSX-V: KORE) announced that Marc Leduc is joining KORE to lead development of the Company’s Imperial heap leach gold project as Chief Operating Officer. Leduc is a mining engineer and geologist with over 30 years designing, constructing and operating large heap leach gold mines, including Barrick’s Pierina and New Gold’s Cerro Pedro. Previously, Leduc was COO and then CEO of NewCastle Gold Ltd., CEO of Luna Gold Corp., COO at Lydian International Limited and President and COO of Bear Creek Mining Corporation.
Trading Technologies International, Inc. [CHICAGO, IL] announced the hiring of Russ Cotton as chief operating officer and. Cotton will join TT from Intercontinental Exchange, where he most recently served as Vice President of Operations. Cotton worked in numerous operations roles at ICE over the past 17 years, with prior experience at Morgan Stanley and CQG.
NeighborWorks America [WASHINGTON, DC] announced the appointment of Susan M. Ifill to serve as the organization’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. Ifill comes to NeighborWorks having served the last nine years as the chief operating officer and now CEO of Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, Inc. Ifill currently serves as chair of the board of trustees for Cambridge College in Boston, and on the board of directors for Habitat NYC Community Development Fund.
The Council on Foundations [WASHINGTON, DC] announced Margaret Bandera as Chief Operating Officer. Bandera joins the Council following a long tenure with Council member organization, National Philanthropic Trust where she served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Treasurer. Prior to her work in philanthropy, Bandera served as a Certified Public Accountant in the Philadelphia region and in Canada.
