Sheppard Pratt Health System [BALTIMORE, MD] announced the appointment of Gregory Gattman as vice president and chief operating officer for its hospitals. Before joining Sheppard Pratt, Gattman served as the president of Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia, S.C. Gattman previously served as their system vice president for clinical services as well as held other executive roles in clinical operations. Prior to joining Palmetto Health, Gattman held senior administrative positions in acute care and psychiatric hospitals in Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri.
Alliant Insurance Services [NEWPORT BEACH, CA] announced that John Ludwig has been named Co-Chief Operating Officer of Alliant Specialty. Ludwig previously served as President and CEO of EnRisk, an energy insurance and risk management broker acquired by Alliant in 2013. Ludwig is succeeding Jeff Moench as Co-COO. Moench will remain in a leadership role within Alliant Specialty.
G&S Business Communications [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Ron Loch to Chief Operating Officer. Loch will succeed current COO Jeff Altheide, who will retire at the end of Q1 2020. In his more than 30 years at G&S, Loch has served in various client service and agency management roles, including most recently as Managing Director of the Chicago office and head of the sustainability consulting team.
Neovasc, Inc. [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSX: NVCN) announced the appointment of Bill Little as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer. Little joins Neovasc after serving as Abbott’s Global Head of Customer and New Market Insights and Divisional Vice President of Global Marketing. Prior to Abbott, Little was Vice President, Global Marketing at C.R. Bard, now part of Becton Dickson.
eSUB Construction Software [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced that Matt Belkin has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining eSUB, Belkin served as President at BigSquid. Belkin spent five years at business analytics powerhouse DOMO.
GrowGeneration Corp. [DENVER, CO] (OTCQX: GRWG) announced that the company has named Tony Sullivan as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of GrowGeneration. Joe Prinzivalli will be stepping away from his current role as the Chief Operating Officer and transitioning into a new role as Chief Technology Officer. Sullivan most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Forman Mills, prior to that Senior Vice President Operations for Dollar Express. Prior to Dollar Express, Sullivan was employed at Anna’s Linens for 9+ years where he served in several operating roles, most recently as SVP, Chief Operating Officer.
Integra Resources Corp. [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSXV: ITR) announced the appointment of Timothy Arnold to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Arnold’s former position with Integra was Vice President of Project Development. Prior to joining Integra in January 2019, Arnold was the Vice President of Operations for Pershing Gold Corporation. Previously, Arnold held Vice President and General Manager positions for Nevada Copper, General Moly, Coeur Mining Ltd, Hecla Mining Company and as COO of Geovic Mining Corp.
Broe Real Estate Group [DENVER, CO] a private real estate investment firm and affiliate of The Broe Group, has named Peter Albro chief operating officer. The former BREG senior vice president of real estate has been tapped to assume senior leadership responsibilities. Albro joined BREG in 2016 and has been a major contributor to BREG’s North American investment program.
Pure Storage [MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA] (NYSE: PSTG) announced that Paul Mountford is joining as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Mountford brings 30+ years of senior sales and technology leadership experience, most recently at Riverbed as CEO and previously the Chief Sales Officer. Prior to Riverbed, Mountford was CEO at Sentillian and held senior roles during his tenure at Cisco.
Entrada Therapeutics [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Nathan J. Dowden as Chief Operating Officer. Dowden was most recently Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Rubius Therapeutics. Prior to joining Rubius, Dowden served as Managing Director at the Huron Consulting Group, having joined Huron in 2014 through its acquisition of The Frankel Group, a boutique life sciences strategy consulting firm. Dowden spent 16 years helping to lead The Frankel Group. Dowden has also worked at Ernest & Young in the healthcare practice, Searle Pharmaceuticals and CIGNA Healthcare.
