NewAge Beverages Corporation [DENVER, CO] (NASDAQ: NBEV) announced that David Vanderveen has joined NewAge as the newly appointed chief operating officer. Vanderveen was the founder and chief executive officer of XS Energy, which he sold to Amway in 2015. Most recently Vanderveen joined the board of RX3 Ventures and is an investor with Roth Capital.
Memorial Hermann Health System [HOUSTON, TX] has named Erin Asprec as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. For more than 15 years, Asprec has held integral roles within the Memorial Hermann Health System, including key leadership positions—most recently as Chief of Acute Care Services and Chief Transformation Officer.
Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. [WARRENTON, VA] (NASDAQ: FBSS) announced that the Company promoted Chip S. Register, currently the Company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Information Officer, to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Register has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Information Officer since June 2016. From September 2008 to June 2016, Register served as the Chief Information Officer of the Company. Prior to joining the Company in 2008, Register served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of NetBank, Inc.
Unum Group [CHATTANOOGA, TN] (NYSE: UNM) announced that Michael Q. Simonds, president and chief executive officer of Unum US, has been appointed to the newly created role of chief operating officer of the company, effective February 1, 2020. Simonds began his career at Unum in 1994 and has worked in leadership roles throughout the company in multiple divisions, including Finance, Marketing and Sales. Prior to leading Unum US, Simonds served as chief operating officer and chief marketing officer for Unum.
The Brattle Group [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Kevin Steinberg as its Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Brattle, Steinberg served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Leadership Networks. Previously, Steinberg was the Global Chief Operating Officer for Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services group.

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. [MOJAVE, CA] (NYSE: SPCE) announced the appointment of Enrico Palermo as Chief Operating Officer. Palermo currently serves as President of The Spaceship Company. Palermo joined Virgin Galactic in 2006 as one of its first employees. Enrico will maintain his capacity of TSC President.
Meritor, Inc. [TROY, MI] (NYSE: MTOR) announced the appointment of Chris Villavarayan as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Villavarayan has served as senior vice president and president of Meritor’s Global Truck segment since January 2018. Before being appointed senior vice president and president of Meritor’s Global Truck segment, Villavarayan served as president of Truck Americas, responsible for Meritor’s Commercial Truck, Defense and Specialty businesses in North and South America. Also at Meritor, Villavarayan served as vice president of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management and managing director for Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems Ltd.
Cimarex Energy Co. [DENVER, CO] (NYSE: XEC) announced that its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Joe Albi, has informed the Company of his retirement as an officer and director of the company effective July 1, 2020.
BeachFleischman [TUCSON, AZ] announced that Kim D. Paskal has been appointed the firm’s chief operating officer of tax, effective January 1, 2020. Paskal will succeed Peter Beahan who served in the role since 2016.
IQ-Analog Corporation [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced the appointment of George Chrisikos to the newly-created role of Chief Operating Officer. Chrisikos has held executive, engineering and entrepreneurial positions in the fabless wireless semiconductor industry for over 20 years, including as the Chief Technology Officer at EvoNexus since 2018. Formerly, Chrisikos led advanced technology development efforts at Qualcomm Inc. from 2008-2018. Previously, Chrisikos was the engineering director and product line manager at Applied Wave Research (AWR) Inc. from 2003-2008.
iPipeline® [EXTON, PA] announced the appointment of Daphne Thomas to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Thomas has served as EVP of Professional Services and Chief Transformation Officer at iPipeline for 12 years.
Lumagenics [CARY, NC] announced that Steve Grenon has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Grenon joined Lumagenics from Johnson and Johnson Surgical Vision where he served as head of R&D on the Dry Eye Business unit after the acquisition in 2017, of his prior startup Company TearScience. Grenon was the first employee of TearScience and served as VP of R&D. Prior to TearScience, Steve served as the Chief Technology Officer of a Duke University startup, Volumetrics Medical Imaging.
Omnivore [CLEARWATER, FL] announced that Dan Singer has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Singer served for nearly 8 years as Vice President of Finance for FairWarning. While at FairWarning, Singer led the Finance, Legal, IT, and Sales Operations teams.
Internet Sciences Inc. [NEW YORK] has appointed Richard Marriott as chief operating officer of the company. Before joining ISI, Mariott various positions of increasing responsibility with Ernst & Young, Deloitte and KPMG.
RingCentral, Inc. [BELMONT, CA] (NYSE: RNG) announced that Anand Eswaran, former Corporate Vice President for Microsoft’s Global Enterprise Business, has joined the company as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Eswaran was most recently responsible for Microsoft’s Enterprise Commercial and Public Sector business globally. Prior to that, Eswaran led Microsoft Services, Industry & Digital, Customer Care, and Customer Success. Prior to joining Microsoft, Eswaran was the Executive Vice President of Global Services business at SAP. Previously, Eswaran served as Vice President of Global Software Services at HP.

Misczak has worked in disaster preparedness, response and recovery for more than 25 years, most of which was spent serving at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency.
