Berger Montague PC [PHILADELPHIA, PA] announced that it has hired Patrick McCormick to serve as its first Chief Operating Officer. McCormick joins Berger Montague after twelve years as a Senior Vice President of The Ricoh Company, Ltd. where he managed its subsidiary, mindSHIFT Technologies, Inc. Prior to his tenure at mindSHIFT, McCormick was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Network Alternatives, Inc.
Televerde [PHOENIX, AZ] has named Toby Parrish as its chief operating officer. Parrish was most recently senior vice president of U.S. Operations and Global Strategy for Empereon Marketing. Parrish has also held operational leadership positions at Walt Disney Company, VXI Global Solutions, TDP Consulting, Equifax Secure and Epoch Internet.
Brex [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the hire of Paul-Henri (PH) Ferrand as COO. Ferrand joins Brex from Google, where he was President, Global Customer Operations for Google Cloud. Prior to his role at Google, Ferrand spent ten years at Dell, and in his last role, was President of Dell North America.
Quantum Health [COLUMBUS, OH] announced the promotion of Steven Knight to chief operating officer. Knight, a 12-year Quantum Health veteran, was previously executive vice president (EVP) of Total Experience. In his 12 years at Quantum Health, Knight has excelled in multiple roles, including director of Client Engagement, senior vice president of Member Engagement and, most recently, EVP of Total Experience.
Customers Bank [WYOMISSING, PA] the banking subsidiary of Customers Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE:CUBI) announced the recruitment of Sam Sidhu, currently CEO of Megalith Capital Management, as its Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Head of Corporate Development for Customers Bancorp. Prior to launching Megalith Capital Management Sidhu worked at Providence Equity Partners and Goldman Sachs for five years. Sidhu has also served on the board of Customers Bank for the past eight years.
Ocean Grown Ventures [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Wayne Nasby as chief operating officer. Prior to joining the Company, Nasby was a board member and chief operating officer of CURE Pharmaceuticals. Nasby is also the founder and chief executive officer of Global Compliance Specialty Group.
Whitefoord [ATLANTA, GA] announced Kate Pfirman will join Whitefoord in February as its new Chief Operating Officer. Pfirman comes to Whitefoord from a 25-year career with the State of Georgia. Her latest role was with the Department of Community Health as the Executive Director of the Office of Continuous Program Improvement at DCH. Pfirman previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Public Health and has held a variety of roles including Division Director at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Deputy Commissioner at the Department of Human Resources. Pfirman was president of the Georgia Fiscal Managers’ Association in 2012, president of the Human Services Employees Credit Union from 2010-2014, and served as an advisory board member for the GSU Leadership program, where she also teaches.
Kindred Healthcare, LLC [LOUISVILLE, KY] announced the appointment of Jason Zachariah as Chief Operating Officer. Zachariah will continue to serve as President of Kindred Rehabilitation Services. Zachariah joined Kindred in 2006 and held various roles in the Hospital Division before being named Chief Operating Officer of Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services in July 2013.
Leidos [RESTON, VA] announced that Michael Jackman has been named the Leidos Health Group’s chief operating officer. Prior to joining Leidos, Jackman served as an operating partner at Ardan Equity Partners. Before that, Jackman was chief executive officer of Mach7 Technologies. Jackman also served as the leader for the Americas Region of GE Healthcare’s Digital HCIT Division. Jackman has also held executive roles for Carestream Health, iSOFT Health Group, and Eastman Kodak. Jackman’s career started at IBM where he was vice president of Systems and Technology for the IBM Personal Systems Group for close to two decades.
Bureau Veritas [NEW YORK] announced that Ron Stupi has been appointed to senior vice president and chief operating officer of its building and infrastructure team, part of its Commodities, Infrastructure, and Facilities (CIF) division in North America.
