PEI-Genesis [PHILADELPHIA, PA] has promoted Peter Austin to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Austin joined PEI-Genesis with over 20 years in the electronics industry. Prior to 2016, Austin has worked as Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at NXP Semiconductors and prior to that, served as Director of Global Business Management at National Semiconductor. Austin also spent 13 years with Future Electronics in various roles including Director and Worldwide Business Manager, Corporate Product Marketing.
First Light Diagnostics [CHELMSFORD, MA] has named Joanne Spadoro as Chief Operating Officer. Spadoro has 30 years of executive leadership experience at companies including Roche Molecular Systems, Immucor, and T2 Biosystems.
U.S. Renal Care [PLANO, TX] announced that it has named Andy Johnston as Chief Operating Officer. Johnston most recently served as the Chief Development Officer for United Surgical Partners International Inc. Johnston had been with United Surgical Partners for almost two decades, where he served in the roles of Group President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer in the Eastern half of the country before stepping into the Chief Development Officer role.
Semperis [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Sharon Vardi to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. Vardi is an industry veteran with 25 years of experience developing and scaling organizations, from start-ups to publicly traded companies. Prior to joining Semperis, Vardi held senior executive positions at Prevoty, Securonix, and Ernst & Young.
Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers [VANCOUVER, BC] (NYSE: RBA) announced the appointment of Jim Kessler as Chief Operating Officer. Kessler will serve as a member of Ritchie Bros. Executive Committee. Kessler has held various leadership positions in his career including those of President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Kessler acted as Chief Operating Officer of Abra Auto Body & Glass. Kessler also held a variety of senior leadership positions at Caliber Collision, vRide and Pep Boys. Most recently, Kessler served as President of Emerging Business for Caliber Collision.
Aerojet Rocketdyne [EL SEGUNDO, CA] announced that Amy Gowder will join the company on May 4, 2020, as Chief Operating Officer. Gowder will serve as one of the officers of parent company Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc. Gowder will replace current COO Mark Tucker who has decided to retire at the end of this year. Gowder most recently served as vice president and general manager for Lockheed Martin’s Training and Logistics Solutions line of business.
