Women’s Care Florida [TAMPA, FL] announced that Ellen Bower has assumed the role of chief operating officer. Bower has been with Women’s Care Florida for two years, previously serving as vice president of its greater Tampa Bay region.
Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] (NYSE: INSP) announced the appointment of Phil Ebeling as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Ebeling served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Abbott Laboratories, following its acquisition of St. Jude Medical. In his 10 years with Abbott Laboratories and St. Jude Medical, Ebeling was a member of the executive team and a corporate officer at both companies. Previously, Ebeling held increasingly senior positions, including in program management, quality systems and process development, over a twelve year tenure at Boston Scientific.
Lombard International Group [PHILADELPHIA, & NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Michael Gordon as Group Chief Operating Officer, in addition to his existing role of Chief Executive of the US business. Gordon joined Lombard International in May 2016 as Chief Executive Officer in the US. Prior to joining Lombard International, Gordon served as the Global Head of Insurance Solutions at BNY Mellon Investment Management. Prior to BNY Mellon, Gordon was an executive at New York Life Insurance Company, as well as overseeing the Broker Dealer and the Registered Investment Advisor for the U.S. life insurance business.
IEX Exchange [NEW YORK] announced the addition of Daniel Ciment as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Ciment will lead operations and innovation for IEX Exchange. Ciment is joining IEX following 10 years at J.P. Morgan, where he served as a Managing Director and Head of Global Equities Electronic Trading and Global Agency Program Trading. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Ciment held similar roles at Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers and ITG.
DispatchHealth [DENVER, CO] announced Shannon Werb as the company’s chief operating officer. Werb comes to DispatchHealth with more than 20 years of experience in health care information technology, strategy, and operations. Prior to joining DispatchHealth, Werb served as president and chief operating officer at vRad. Werb also previously worked as chief operating officer and chief strategy officer at Acuo Technologies.
