Dominion Energy [RICHMOND, VA] (NYSE: D) announced that, effective Oct. 1, 2020, Robert M. Blue, executive vice president and co-chief operating officer, will be promoted to president and chief executive officer. Diane Leopold, executive vice president and co-chief operating officer, will be promoted to Dominion Energy’s sole chief operating officer. Leopold joined Dominion Energy in 1995 and became an officer in 2004. Leopold held a wide range of executive roles in both the electric and natural gas businesses of the company prior to her current role as executive vice president and co-chief operating officer. These include senior vice president-Business Development & Generation Construction; senior vice president-Dominion Transmission; and executive vice president and CEO-Gas Infrastructure Group. Leopold currently serves as chair of the American Gas Association.
Cresset Asset Management [CHICAGO, IL] announced that Randall “Randy” Conte has been named Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Cresset, Conte was President of Parkway Bank and Trust and Parkway Bancorp. Previous to that role Conte was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer of MB Financial Bank, prior to being acquired by Fifth Third.
J. Craig Holding Corp. [HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA] (OTC: UPWT) announced Bassil Aish as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Aish is a former UCLA Team Physician and 2-time Emmy award winner (Fox Sports/ESPN “Sport Science”).
Dresner Partners [CHICAGO, IL] announced that Brian V. Ytterberg, has joined Dresner Partners as Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Dresner Partners, Ytterberg was a Managing Director with XLCS Partners. Prior to joining XLCS Partners, Ytterberg worked for a family office and a private equity firm where he sourced and executed private equity investments. Ytterberg also headed the investment banking group at Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett (now part of Raymond James). Prior to that Ytterberg was a Managing Director in the M&A group of Bank One Capital Markets (now part of JP Morgan Chase). Ytterberg also held management positions with KPMG and Price Waterhouse.
RealNetworks, Inc. [SEATTLE, WA] (NASDAQ: RNWK) announced the appointment of Mike Ensing to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. Ensing previously served as interim CFO and as a strategic advisor to the Company. Ensing rejoins RealNetworks in the new role of President and Chief Operating Officer. Ensing succeeds Max Pellegrini, who will be leaving RealNetworks in September. Ensing was most recently Chief Financial Officer of Savers/Value Village from 2014 to 2019. Previously, Ensing served in Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles at Knowledge Universe, from 2012 to 2014, and in several financial leadership positions at Microsoft Corporation, from 2004 to 2012. Earlier in his career, Ensing held various positions at consulting companies, including McKinsey & Co. and Deloitte Consulting.
Aura [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] named Joe Martin as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer, Martin was Aura’s SVP, Engineering, Product and Design. Previously, Martin served as SVP of Engineering, Trust and User Operations for Indiegogo. Before that, Martin served as Senior Director of Engineering for eBay and multiple engineering and product leadership roles for Microsoft.
Crown Bioscience [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced the appointment of John Gu as chief operations officer. Gu joins CrownBio from WuXi Nextcode where he was general manager for the China business, as well as chief digital officer. Prior to WuXi Nextcode, Gu held successive senior technology and operations roles across digital and technology companies, including Alcatel-Lucent.
Senske Services [KENNEWICK, WA] announced that Tim Ehrhart has joined the company as the new Chief Operating Officer. Ehrhart’s career in the industry began with ServiceMaster in 1997, where he quickly moved up the ranks and held several senior-level positions, including National Sales Director, Director of Operations, Region VP of Operations and Vice President of Sales.
Galiano Gold Inc. [VANCOUVER, BC] (NYSE: GAU) announced the passing of the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, Josephat Zvaipa. Zvaipa joined the group in 2014 and had been the Managing Director of Asanko Gold Ghana Limited from 2015 to mid-2019.
Metropolitan Bank Holding Corp. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: MCB) the holding company for Metropolitan Commercial Bank, announced that the Company appointed Dixiana M. Berrios as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Berrios was Executive Vice President, Director of Operations at Amalgamated Bank, New York, NY. Berrios started her banking career at Sterling National Bank, New York, NY, in 1996 and rose to Senior Vice President, Director of Bank Operations, before joining Amalgamated Bank.
Catalina Island Medical Center [AVALON, CA] announced the appointment of Tammy Moore as Chief Operating Officer. Moore comes to Catalina from a critical access hospital in Washington State where she served in numerous leadership roles, the most recent as Chief Clinical Officer. Moore also held roles such as Medical Staff President and Vice President of Care Transformation,
Apogee [AUSTIN, TX] has appointed Kevin Reichle as Chief Operations Officer. Reichle most recently served as Chief of Staff for Accruent. Prior to his Chief of Staff role, Reichle was General Manager of Telecom, Vice President of Business Operations, and Vice President of People and Talent at the company. Reichle has also held finance, operations, and strategy leadership roles at Dun & Bradstreet and Hoover’s Online.
