Side [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the appointment of Elizabeth Tse as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Tse served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Upwork for seven years. Additionally, Tse served as president and board member of Upwork subsidiaries including Upwork Escrow, Upwork Talent Group and Elance. With her specialty in advising companies on the future of work, marketplace management, customer success, and digital transformation, Tse is a vital asset to the Side leadership team. Previous to her role at Upwork, Tse served as COO of Samasource. Tse previously served as VP of Global Billing, Payments and Collections at eBay.
Kitchen United [PASADENA, CA] announced that Joy Lai has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer from her previous position as Chief Marketing Officer. Lai joined Kitchen United in 2019. Lai previously held strategic leadership roles at Internet Brands, The Wonderful Company and Bain & Company.
Diligent Corporation [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Lisa Edwards as President and Chief Operating Officer. Edwards joins Diligent Corporation from Salesforce where she served as EVP of Strategic Business Operations after running Global Corporate Services (GCS) and serving as CPO. Prior to Salesforce, Edwards led global strategic partnerships for Visa, Inc. as SVP/Head of Global Strategic Alliances and Global IP Strategy and earlier served in an operations role as Head of Global Corporate Services. Earlier in her career, Edwards served as CEO of KnowledgeX and co-founded Valubond, and served as President, COO, and head of the ATS (Alternative Trading System) prior to its acquisition by Knight Capital.
Zenith American Solutions® [TAMPA, FL] announced that Chris Johnson has joined the Executive Leadership Team as Chief Operating Officer. Johnson held numerous strategy and execution-focused roles at UnitedHealth Group, including as Chief Strategist of Strategic Growth. Johnson has also served in executive-level leadership roles at American Express, Arthur Andersen, and US Bancorp.
Copart, Inc. [DALLAS, TX] (NASDAQ: CPRT) announced the appointment of Chief Operating Officer Steve Powers. Powers previously served as Copart’s Eastern Division VP of Operations. Following more than 15 years with New England Recovery (NER), Powers joined Copart in 1995 when the company acquired NER. Powers has served as Copart’s VP of Operations since 2010, and succeeds Sean Eldridge as COO, who recently retired after a 30-year career with the company.
Buckle [JERSEY CITY, NJ] announced the appointment of Kristi Matus, who was previously Executive Advisor for Thomas H. Lee Partners and CFO of USAA, as the company’s CFO and COO. During nearly a decade with USAA, Matus also served as President of Life Insurance and Investment Services and as President of the Life Insurance Company. Matus was also Executive VP and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at athenahealth, Inc. and Executive VP and Head of the Government Services Segment at Aetna, Inc.
Ruby Ribbon, Inc. [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Michelle Sanft as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Sanft led planning and business strategy as VP of Finance for Careismatic Brands. Hasbro, Inc. [PAWTUCKET, RI] (NASDAQ: HAS) announced John Frascotti will retire from his current position as President and Chief Operating Officer when his contract ends on March 31, 2021. At the culmination of his existing contract, he will remain employed by the Company for one year in the role of special advisor to the Chief Executive Officer through April 1, 2022.
Karate Combat [NEW YORK] announced that it has named Adam S. Kovacs its new President and Chief Operating Officer. Kovacs was previously the founding Head of Karate of the league. Kovacs is the most successful karteka in Hungary, a 5th Dan Karate Master and a former number 1 ranked karateka. Before joining Karate Combat, Kovacs served as Head of Karate for the most successful multi-sport clubs in Hungary.
Fusion Risk Management, Inc. [CHICAGO, IL] announced it has appointed Judith Tigner as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Tigner served as Senior Vice President, Client Success at Mitratech. Before Mitratech, Tigner spent 20 years at SirsiDynix. Talend [REDWOOD CITY, CA] (NASDAQ: TLND) announced it has named Jamie Kiser to the expanded role of chief operating officer and chief customer officer. Prior to joining Talend, Kiser served over six years with SAP in various product, services, and operations leadership positions. Kiser’s most recent role at SAP was vice president, global public sector for SAP Concur.
BP Midstream Partners LP [HOUSTON, TX] announced that Gerald Maret has decided to retire from his position as Chief Operating Officer effective on December 31, 2020. David Kurt was appointed Co-Chief Operating Officer of the General Partner on October 1, 2020. Kurt’s title will change to Chief Operating Officer as of December 31, 2020, replacing Maret. Kurt has served as Refinery Manager of the Whiting refinery since May 2020. Kurt has held various positions at Whiting refinery, including as Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager from 2019 to 2020, Production Manager from 2017 to 2019, and Business Improvement Manager from 2015 to 2017. Kurt joined BP in 1996.
The Home Depot® [ATLANTA, GA] announced that Edward “Ted” P. Decker has been named president and chief operating officer. Decker, a 20-year veteran of the company, has served as executive vice president of merchandising since 2014.
AECOM [LOS ANGELES, CA] (NYSE:ACM) announced that Randy Wotring, AECOM’s chief operating officer, has announced his retirement and will continue to serve as a senior advisor to the Company through the end of December.
Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. [JACKSONVILLE, FL] appointed Ido Gileadi to be the Company’s Chief Operating Officer. Gileadi has served as the Chief Information Officer of the Company since 2014. Prior to his role as CIO for the Company, Gileadi was a senior partner at The Capital Markets Company, which was acquired by, and became a subsidiary of, the Company in 2010, and he continued in that role through 2013. Prior to commencing his employment with Capco in 2004, Gileadi also served as CIO at BCE Emergis and was a senior manager in charge of ERP technology practice at Deloitte Consulting.
The Children’s Place, Inc. [SECAUSCUS, NJ] announced the appointment of Chief Operating Officer. Leah Swan, Chief Administrative Officer, has assumed the title of Chief Operating Officer. Swan joined the Company in 2016.
